October 7 to October 10 marks the dates of a successful week for the SED Peer Facilitators with their festive booth which garnered interaction from other students!

The Mental Health Week with the theme ๐™€๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™™ ๐™’๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ: ๐˜ฟ๐™ž๐™จ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™œ๐™ž๐™˜ ๐™ค๐™› ๐™Ž๐™š๐™ก๐™›-๐˜พ๐™–๐™ง๐™š ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™‹๐™š๐™š๐™ง ๐™Ž๐™ช๐™ฅ๐™ฅ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฉ was a week of valuing the voices of others and learning to take care of yourself.

A time well spent as the SED and IBED Peer Facilitators attended the 1st National Convention of the Peer Organization of the Philippines last October 4 at St. Paul College Pasig with its theme "๐‘ฌ๐’Ž๐’‘๐’๐’˜๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’€๐’๐’–๐’•๐’‰ ๐‘ฌ๐’Ž๐’ƒ๐’“๐’‚๐’„๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ท๐’๐’˜๐’†๐’“ ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ท๐’†๐’†๐’“ ๐‘บ๐’–๐’‘๐’‘๐’๐’“๐’•".

Peers were able to interact with fellow Peers from schools from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao through fun activities and listen to the insightful words by several inspiring advocates.

This serves as a stepping stone to a similar goal of empowering voices one at a time. ๐Ÿค
