Today, we want to give a special appreciation to ๐๐๐ฌ๐ก๐, our dear volunteer tutor and a beautiful example of a young person choosing to serve with purpose. ๐ท
๐๐๐ฌ๐ก๐ is a Leader in the ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐๐งโ๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ฅ๐ and a student at PUP, taking up Education Major in ICT. During her school vacation, instead of simply taking a break, she chose to spend her time volunteering at our orphanage and serving as a teacher to one of our children, ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ซ "๐" ๐โค๏ธ
Many of the children in orphanages have experienced difficult circumstances, loss, and experiences that can leave emotional wounds and trauma. Because of this, caring for them requires more than academic teachingโit requires patience, understanding, compassion, consistency, and genuine love.
This is where ๐๐๐ฌ๐ก๐ has become such a great help to Toddler "E".. Through her time with him, she is not only helping him learn his lessons; she is also helping create a safe and encouraging environment where he can feel valued, build confidence, express himself, and gradually overcome the effects of painful experiences.
What makes her service even more meaningful is how she has chosen to apply what she has learned through the Childrenโs Ministryโloving children, guiding them, encouraging them, and helping them grow. Her ministry reminds us that sometimes, a teacherโs greatest lesson is not found in a book, but in simply being there for a child who needs someone to believe in him.
