We just canʼt help but ponder on how blessed we still are, simply because we are more capable than these strays.

And this realization goes along with this reflective poem:

“BECAUSE THEY HELPED US”

📍 SEPTEMBER 27, 2024

We did it, because they did help us. Thank you so much po, Sir Jojo Aberia Lastimado! Maraming salamat din po sa mga kaibigan niyang pumunta at naging sobrang pasensiyoso sa pag-rescue kay Doggie. Napakabuti niyo po. 🥹

Inabot po ng dalawang oras ang pagkuha kay Doggie, dahil naging mailap po talaga ito, gawa na rin po siguro ng trauma mula sa pagmamalupit ng ilang nag-iwan sa kaniya.

AWANIʼs in tears po with all that has happened, and all that Doggie had to go through prior this rescue. ❤️‍🩹 We believe itʼs not us who did the most part, but the fulfillment from this rescue has truly been shared through.
We tried reaching out to our local councils, but apparently, the least they could offer was to assist in taking Doggie out of her cage, and still, nothing happened. If Sir Jojo did not respond to our call for help, Doggie would not be in a much better situation now. 🥹 Indeed, this rescue has been possible, BECAUSE THEY HELPED US...

Muli, taos-puso pong nagpapasalamat ang AWANI sa inyong lahat, lalong-lalo na po sa God Sanctuary for Stray Animals, which was founded by Sir Jojo. It was the first animal shelter we visited here in Rizal way back 2021 (when it was still in Antipolo City), and we hope we could visit them again to see Doggie with her new friends. Thank you po ulit! We are really happy to encounter more people who love strays as much as we do. God bless you po! 🙏

EMERGENCY!
Gusto po sana naming humingi ng tulong sa inyo o sa kinauukulan man. May iniwan pong a*o rito sa may Block 2 Lot 58 Sitio Sabutan, San Francisco Village, Muzon, Taytay, Rizal, at kanina lang po, gusto na po nilang patayin. Masyado pong napabayaan 'yung a*o na pag-aari ng dating tenant, ni hindi po napapakain nang tama. Please, tulungan niyo po kami, dahil sasakalin na po ng mga taga-rito 'yung a*o kanina at ipina*ok na sa kulungan para patayin. Napatigil lang po namin sila nung sinabihan naming ipakukulong namin sila, dahil sobrang mali 'yung ginagawa nila. Sana matulungan niyo po kami, please... Hindi po namin makuha 'yung a*o, dahil sobrang mailap na po ito. Makiki-share din po, sobrang kailangan na po namin ng tulong ngayon.

From Jiji's furmom:
Hello po! Magandang araw, bigay lang po akong update kay Jiji para sa nitong mga nakaraang araw.
After po makalabas ni Jiji sa vet noong March 16, 2024 (Saturday) bumalik po siya for follow up check up and xray (March 18 | Monday), ang sabi po ng vet normal naman ba daw po yung bladder niya pero yung kidney niya ay parang namamaga kaya inadvise po siyang magpa Comprehensive Blood Chem. March 30, 2024 (Saturday) Nagpa Blood Chem na po siya kanina, yung result po nung test ay;
-Boarderline (Decreasing) ALB
-Elevated TP and GLOB

Nireseratahan po siya para maagapan yung pwede niyang maging problema sa Liver dahil sa pagbaba nung ALB niya and isa pang gamot para sa pamamaga ng Kidney niya. Babalik po siya ulit dun para macheck ulit after 14 days.

Sorry po if hindi nakapag update agad medyo naging busy lang po pero sobrang thank you po sa tumulong para mapagamot si Jiji 🫶 🫶

According po sa vet, wala pong appetite si Jiji kaya po syringe feeding po tayo sa kanya, nag-iwan naman po ng food last night pero hindi po niya ito ginalaw. Also, may urine output naman po siya pero hindi po ganun kadami. Continuous pa rin po tayo sa pagbibigay ng medications sa kanya... Thank you po.

Magandang araw po, mga ka-hayop! 🐱🐾

Nais po sana naming ilapit at ihingi ng tulong si Jiji. Kasalukuyan po siyang naka-confine ngayon sa Assumpta Dog & Cat Clinic- Taytay dahil sa hirap niyang pag-ihi. Siya po ay naka-catheter ngayon upang makatulong sa kanyang pag-ihi.

Currently po, kami ay humihingi na ng quotation mula sa vet, at nais po sana naming lumapit sa inyo upang humingi ng tulong para po sa medical expenses ng alaga po namin... dahil as of now po... Php 5,050.00 na po ang naging expenses niya bukod pa sa medication and overnight niyang stay sa vet... 🙏 😥😥 🙏
