On July 28, we pause to remember.
24 members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines — 22 young Scouts and 2 leaders — lost their lives in 1963 while on their way to represent our country in Greece. They carried with them the true spirit of Scouting: courage, service, and brotherhood.
As OUTFIT 117 IRRAWADDY SCOUTS, we honor their sacrifice by living the Scout Law every day. Their journey may have ended too soon, but their legacy continues in every good turn we do.
We remember them. We are guided by them.
