Sitio Dayap: 8 in 1 Impact Community Project
On August 2, 2026, the Rotary Club of Metro East Taytay (RCMET), together with the Rotary Club of Gapan, the Rotary Club of Makati San Lorenzo, MotorXchange, and MXC Builders, proudly launched PROJECT PAG-ASA: Sito Dayap an 8-in-1 High Impact Community Project for the people of Sitio Dayap, Brgy. San Roque, Angono, Rizal.
More than a collection of service projects, PROJECT PAG-ASA is a commitment to build a healthier, safer, and more empowered community.
Among its most meaningful highlights is the construction of a community church—a place where families can gather in faith, strengthen relationships, and find hope for generations to come.
Another life-changing milestone is the installation of a solar-powered potable water system. Using clean and renewable solar energy, the system pumps water from a deep well and passes it through a modern filtration system, providing safe and potable drinking water not only to the residents of Sitio Dayap but also to nearby communities and subdivisions. This sustainable project will improve public health, reduce the burden of accessing clean water, and benefit countless families for years to come.
Also, another meaningful highlight of the project was the donation of four (4) sewing machines, providing women and families with an opportunity to develop livelihood skills, earn sustainable income, and build a better future for their community.
PROJECT PAG-ASA also includes the installation of solar streetlights, community hall rehabilitation, environmental education, medical and dental missions, and public image projects—all designed to uplift lives and create lasting, sustainable impact.
This remarkable initiative was led by HIP President Elmer Deloritos, with the full support of our VP PP Ariel Espino, the officers, and members of RCMET. We also recognize the outstanding leadership of Service Projects Director PN Olan Panlaqui, whose vision and dedication turned this ambitious project into reality.
