🇵🇭 PHILIPPINE POLITICS: THE “HOSPITAL ARC” NEVER GETS OLD.

Notice the familiar drama?
Investigation begins.
Charges are filed.
Arrest becomes possible.
And suddenly…
“Medical condition.” 🏥
Next scene: hospital bed, doctors, lawyers, and endless requests for medical consideration.
Parang may sariling script ang pulitika:
“Kapag may hearing, absent.
Kapag may imbestigasyon, may sakit.
Kapag may arrest warrant, emergency admission.” 🤡

Of course, real medical conditions are real, and anyone genuinely sick deserves proper medical care.

But when the same pattern repeatedly appears whenever accountability gets closer, it's understandable why ordinary Filipinos become skeptical and frustrated.

The law should not ask:
“Mayaman ka ba? Makapangyarihan ka ba? Politician ka ba?”

It should simply ask:
“Are you accountable under the same law as everyone else?”

If someone is truly ill—treat them.
If they are guilty—hold them accountable.
If they are innocent—prove it through due process.

But please…
Stop making the hospital bed look like the emergency exit from justice. 🏥🚪🇵🇭

Ano na, Pilipinas?
