The opening day of PAFT KAINNOVATION 2026 marked the beginning of an inspiring celebration of creativity, innovation, and excellence in Food Technology.

The simple opening program was graced by the presence of our distinguished university officials, faculty members, staff, and student leaders whose unwavering support made the event even more meaningful. We were honored to welcome Dr. Niรฑo Corpus, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovation (VPREI), who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of innovation, research, and collaboration in shaping future Food Technologists. Likewise, Dr. Mary Jane N. Rigor, Dean of the College of Science, shared an encouraging message that inspired students to continue pursuing excellence and transforming ideas into impactful innovations.

Also present during the opening ceremony were Dr. Lea B. Milan, Director of the Center for Food Technology Research (CFTR); Prof. Aldrex Laxamana, Unit Head of the Office of Innovation and Business Development (OIBD); the CFTR Staff and OIBD Staff; Dr. Mary Katherine A. Apolonio, Associate Dean and Chairperson of the Food Technology Department; Mr. Jhan Ervin B. Marcelo, College of Science Research Chairperson and PAFT Chi Chapter Adviser; Ms. Christine Louanne B. Alturas, PAFT Chi Chapter Co-Adviser; and the PAFT Chi Chapter Officers, A.Y. 2026โ€“2027.

Their presence and support reflect a shared commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and academic excellence among future Food Technologists.

๐Ÿ“ PAFT KAINNOVATION 2026 is open to the public every Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We invite everyone to visit the exhibit and discover the innovative food products.

This soft opening marks only the beginning. Stay tuned for the official GRAND OPENING this October 2026, where even more exciting activities and innovations await.

Ang inyong pagkakahalal ay hindi lamang panibagong yugto ng pamumuno, kundi panibagong pagkakataong paunlarin ang samahang nagbubuklod sa mga Food Technologists na may iisang hangarin: gamitin ang agham at kaalaman para sa kapakinabangan ng mamamayan.

Nawaโ€™y maging daluyan ang inyong pamumuno ng mga programang nagpapalawak ng kaalaman, nagpapaunlad ng kasanayan, at nagpapalalim ng malasakit sa sektor ng pagkain at agrikultura.
