Preparedness in Action: PRC Tarlac Chapter Completes 2-Day Red Cross 143 Basic Training Course!

The Philippine Red Cross - Tarlac Chapter recently concluded an intensive 2-day Red Cross 143 Training Course at the PRC National Headquarters to further strengthen our disaster response capabilities.

A major focus of the training was Hazard Mapping and the Incident Command System (ICS). As part of the "Scenarios and Evaluation" activity outlined in our module, our team executed a simulation where the Tarlac Chapter acted as the ICS hub for the entirety of Region 3. This specific scenario tested our ability to coordinate a regional response, utilizing Tarlac's strategic central location and lower vulnerability to disaster damages as a major advantage.

By mastering the 4P's (Predict, Plan, Prepare, Practice), the 4Rs (Report, Respond, Record, Recognized), and the 5F's (Focus, Fast, Friendly, Flexible, Forward Looking), our volunteers are better equipped than ever to handle real-life emergencies.

We are committed to building a VOLUNTEERS + LOGISTICS + INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY A PRC THAT IS ALWAYS FIRST, ALWAYS READY, ALWAYS THERE!

Are you passionate about helping others? Do you want to lead real change right in your own hometown? The Philippine Red Cross – Tarlac Chapter is looking for dedicated, action-oriented individuals to step up as MUNICIPAL RED CROSS 143 COORDINATORS!
As a Municipal Coordinator, you will be the face of humanity, leadership, and resilience across the various barangays of your town.
YOUR MISSION:
• Lead Local Activities: Represent the Red Cross in municipal events, emergency responses, and mass Blood Donation Programs.
• Build the Network: Actively recruit and onboard new Red Cross 143 Volunteers during local community programs.
• Empower the Barangays: Conduct the Basic Volunteer Orientation Course (BVOC) to train and prepare community members.
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
• Comprehensive Training: Don't worry if you don't have experience yet! Before deployment, we will provide you with full, specialized training to equip you with the skills and confidence to lead.
• Volunteer Allowance: To support your dedication and help cover expenses, a Volunteer Allowance will be provided during deployments, recruitment activities, and BVOC sessions.
WHO CAN APPLY?
• Must be a resident of the municipality you wish to serve.
• Must have a heart for volunteerism, a strong sense of leadership, and good communication skills.
• Ready to organize, mobilize, and inspire others!
