Vessels of Humanity-TSU Vessel Cell is organizing a donation drive for kindergarten students at Pulis Kalinga Village, Macabulos, Tarlac City. The goal is to collect school supplies and learning materials to support their education.

The booth features a creative setup, complete with a ship facade, octopus tentacles, and a banner proclaiming "Vessels of Humanity: Voyage." Visitors can immerse themselves in a playful, sea-faring atmosphere while exploring the array of products on offer.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲

In observance of World Mental Health Day, the COESSE - TSU Psychological Society convened its Mental Health Summit 2025. The event featured Dr. Jazmin Joy E. Dizon, Chairperson of B Human Services, as the keynote speaker, providing a foundation for scholarly discourse and advocacy.

Among the participants was Ms. Diane Garcia, President of the TSU Vessel Cell, an organization dedicated to cultivating a caring community. Ms. Garcia articulated the organization's mission “to build a caring humanity, and we want to transform the receivers into givers." underscoring their commitment to addressing the needs of students and the broader community.

Mr. Michael Ventenilla, Vice President for Internal Affairs, augmented the summit by presenting the organization's banner "It’s okay to feel drained and tired." This message acknowledges the exigencies of daily life, affirming that experiences of demotivation, exhaustion, and mental fatigue are normative and acceptable.

Ms. Garcia posited that productivity should not serve as the exclusive metric of individual value, stating, "We're not meant to be 100% productive every single day. What matters most is that we still try and we still show up." Mr. Ventenilla reinforced this sentiment with the assertion “Isang paalala na ang pagkilala sa ating mga limitasyon ay hindi tanda ng kahinaan kundi isang pangunahing bahagi ng pagiging tao" A reminder that recognizing our limitations is not a sign of weakness but a fundamental aspect of being human.

The Mental Health Summit 2025 functioned as a crucial forum for advancing mental health awareness and fostering a supportive milieu within the TSU community.

Para sa mga 3rd and 4th Year Psych and HumServ Students, ang inyong mga napiling workshops ay magsisimula ng 12:30 ng tanghali sa Smith Hall Building.

Ang lahat ng mga estudyante ay inaasahang nasa TSU Gymnasium ng 2:30PM para sa pang-hapon na programa.

So, what we need to do is get to know them, talk to them, understand their way of life, and ensure there is no discrimination. We know that many indigenous people are kind and shy, just waiting for us to talk to them to get to know them. They are used to staying in their comfort zone and are afraid of being judged. So why don't we try to get to know them, right?"

September 19, 2025 – The Food Tech AVR at Tarlac State University Lucinda Campus buzzed with energy today as student organizations came together for OrgSail, an event dedicated to strengthening bonds and fostering collaboration among the university's diverse group of leaders. From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, shared their organizational missions, and ignited a collective passion for community involvement.

OrgSail proved to be more than just an event; it was a platform for connection and shared purpose. Attendees expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to network and explore potential collaborations that could amplify their impact both within the university and in the wider community.

A highlight of the event was the presence of guest speakers from the US Peace Corps Volunteers. Their invaluable experiences and insights on volunteerism resonated deeply with the audience, embodying the spirit of service and inspiring students to pursue their own paths of community engagement.

The success of OrgSail was a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of all participants. The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the student organizations that attended, as well as to the Peace Corps Volunteers for their inspiring contributions.
