PANTHERA TIGRIS MOTORCYCLE CLUB (PTMC) started as an idea of two-(2) “kumpadres” who wanted a platform for fellow riders to develop their skills together and as a means to reach out to other motorcycle clubs. Where they share experiences and exchange ideas in an atmosphere of camaraderie, for the collective enjoyment of their common passion for motorcycle riding. The Club was formally registered a
s a non-stock / non-profit corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 06 March 2023, under a Certificate of Registration No. 2023030089122-08, and with twelve (12) founding members acting as incorporators, for the following purposes:
1. To promote the proper and safe handling of motorcycles;
2. To instill the importance of courtesy and discipline on the road, and respect for all road users at all times, to PMTC members and the motorcycle riding community;
3. To foster camaraderie among motorcyclist and provide roadside assistance to fellow riders;
4. To assist in the implementation of the PNP Patrol Plan 2030, particularly in public relation activities, e.g. medical missions, feeding program, and other similar community assistance and development projects;
5. To develop and cultivate a sense of familial and brotherly relationship among its members, supportive of each other, both on and off the road; and
6. To establish chapters of the club in areas outside the boundaries of the province with an existing chapter. The founders envisioned a Club whose members share common values and aspirations, and are governed by their sense of Responsibility, Discipline and Respect. On the same premise, the Club maintains that its purpose(s) can best be achieved by limiting membership to “TIGERS”, a distinctive title bestowed to graduates of the Executive Motorcycle Riding Course (EMCRC) or any similar course conducted by the PNP HPG for that matter. For further emphasis, the Club chose the name “Panthera Tigris MC”, which is the scientific name of the TIGER. Thereby effectively describing the Club membership as a “Brotherhood of Tigers”. The PTMC Clubhouse or Tiger’s Den is located at Tiger25 Auto Spa, Lot 13, Block 1, Villa Soliman Subdivision, McArthur Highway, Barangay.
