Honoring a legacy of service, wisdom, and inspiration

Last January 26, 2025, the Economics Society proudly took part in the Retirement Party of Dr. Ma. Flora G. Mariano, a respected member of the first batch of Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Tarlac Agricultural University – College of Arts and Sciences and one of the advisers of the Economics Society this academic year.

The program formally opened with a prayer, followed by heartfelt messages from Ms. Rizalina Tablarin, Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, Dr. Esmeralda Rodriguez, Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Nardo, and students from the Economics Department—each expressing deep gratitude for Dr. Mariano’s years of guidance, dedication, and service.

Dr. Mariano also shared meaningful insights on how the institute molded her character and inspired her to keep going, leaving behind lessons that will continue to guide and motivate future economists.

Thank you, Dr. Ma. Flora G. Mariano, for your unwavering commitment and lasting impact on the Economics community. Your legacy will truly live on. 🌱✨
