Thesis It, Pansit! From assessment to action, our Environmental Science students are ready to showcase the culmination of years of study and research. This thesis defense is more than an academic requirement—it is a collective call to safeguard ecosystems and strengthen community health. Through rigorous ecological assessments, they have transformed data into insights, and insights into solutions that matter for both nature and nation.

Aside from the student defenses, we will also feature special lectures from our invited guest speakers, who will share their expertise and perspectives on sustainability, environmental management, and community resilience.

A milestone born from dialogue, representation, and the continuous assertion of every student's right to dignity and recognition.

Following continuous dialogue, consultation, and representation, the proposed amendments to the Graduation Attire Guidelines for Batch 2026 have been officially approved, allowing Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) students to wear attire aligned with their gender identity while upholding the formality and dignity of the graduation ceremony.

This development marks a significant and meaningful step toward strengthening gender responsiveness, inclusivity, and student representation within the Tarlac State University community.

Progress may not always arrive all at once, but every policy improved, every space opened, and every voice recognized reflects a community that continues to move forward. This achievement reminds us that when students continue to engage, organize, advocate, and stand together, transformative change becomes possible.

The Office of the Student Regent extends its sincerest recognition to the 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 for its continuous collaboration, initiative, and unwavering commitment to advancing student welfare, representation, and inclusivity within the University.

The Tarlac State University community welcomes Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza as the newly elected TSU president.

Dr. Mendoza took his oath of office tonight, May 5, 2026, at the Commission on Higher Education, officially becoming the seventh president of the university.

Dr. Mendoza previously served as the Vice President for Academic Affairs in July 2025 to May 2026 and Dean of the College of Education in 2018-2025.

The result came after the careful evaluation of the university’s Board of Regents during the public forum and presentation and panel interview held last May 1, 2026, at the TSU Main AVR.

Central to his administration is the "DALAN" framework which he presented during the forum with a vision designed to transform TSU into a hub for "future-ready" professionals and servant-leaders through a balance of inclusive instruction, impactful research, transformative extension, and sustainable production.

His roadmap also prioritizes modern infrastructure and governance, including the creation of smart campuses, the integration of real-time information systems, and the implementation of comprehensive AI governance policies.

Dr. Mendoza’s commitment to the TSU community extends to comprehensive welfare and inclusivity initiatives with plans on revising the student manual, widening of scholarship programs under the Universal Access to Quality Education Act, and establishment of essential student services such as a 24/7 mental health line, dormitories, and a sports hub.

Furthermore, he aims to champion social advocacy by expanding Gender and Development (GAD) programs and strengthening the KAKAMAY Movement.

By 2030, the university expects to see the rollout of expanded Wi-Fi and cashless payments, aligning TSU with the regional development needs of Tarlac and the broader "Panatag na Buhay" goals of 2040.

Dr. Mendoza will be in service for four years as the TSU President starting May 6, 2026 until 2030.

Congratulations, Pres. Mendoza! May your leadership bring continued excellence, innovation, and service to the TSU community.

Sama-sama para sa mas luntiang kinabukasan! 🌍✨

Ngayong araw, Abril 19, 2026, buong siglang nakilahok ang mga nagsisipagtapos na mag-aaral ng Agham Pangkaligiran, sa pangunguna ni Dr. Alma M. Corpuz, Chairperson ng Department of Environmental Science, sa isang makabuluhang tree planting activity na pinangunahan ng City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

Pinangunahan ang nasabing aktibidad nina dating CENRO Head Jimmy Lagonilla at kasalukuyang CENRO Head Nadya M. Ferrer, na patuloy na nagsusulong ng mga programang pangkalikasan para sa lungsod.

Isinagawa ang gawaing ito bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-28 anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Lungsod ng Tarlac. Layunin nitong isulong ang mas malinis, luntian, at napapanatiling komunidad. 🌿

Nakiisa rin ang mga kawani ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at ang masigasig na mga residente ng Barangay Samberga, Tarlac City. Ipinapakita nito na sa pagkakaisa, may magagawa tayo para sa kalikasan.
