“Ang laban ng kalikasan ay laban ng mamamayan.”

Today, November 22, the Maharlika–Geography Society, together with the Association of Future Science Educators, TSU Environmental Science Society, Rotaract Club of TSU-COED MAHARLIKA, and TSU Laboratory School YES-O successfully hosted the webinar titled “Leaf It to Us: Native Plant Idenitification.”

Led by Prof. Jonathan (Ethan) Hernandez, Assistant Professor, University of the Philippines, Los Baños, this engaging session focused on native plant identification, inspiring participants to deepen their knowledge and appreciation for our country’s rich natural heritage. The webinar fostered meaningful learning, discussion, and connection among students and youth organizations.

Rotaract Club of TSU-COED MAHARLIKA President, Rachel Anne Mandap stated on her message of gratitude “Knowledge itself is not enough, and actions without knowledge are equally harmful. Knowledge without application is insight that never transforms, understanding that never serves, and wisdom that never reaches the places that need it most. So after learning, we have to act so that what we know becomes something the world can feel, see, and benefit from.”

On November 17, this truth came alive as NAPIAAMPAD 2025 unfolded, an extension program filled with joy, care, and meaningful connections with the children at Paidyanan Shelter in O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac.

The Rotaract Club of TSU-COED MAHARLIKA was represented by our Vice President, Angelo Rosario, who carried our commitment to service with sincerity and heart.

A special thank you to the Maharlika–Geography Society for leading this initiative so passionately. Your dedication turned a simple act of giving into a memorable and purposeful experience.

•"𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗔𝗸𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻: 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀" – Every Bottle Counts! 𝗠𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗔 bring your plastics bottle in partnership with 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗦𝗨 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. All of the bottle that has been collected will be donated and collected by 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗦𝗨. After the collection they will turn over the bottle to the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 "𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗲" in exchange for rice.
