๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐ | CSG - Imus Participates in SK and LYDC Leadership Training on the Crafting of the Local Youth Development Plan
On June 10, 2026, the Central Student Government of Cavite State University - Imus Campus (CSG) actively participated in the ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐๐๐ง (๐๐) ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ (๐๐๐๐) ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง (๐๐๐๐), held at the Imus Youth Center, Imus Pilot Elementary School.
This meaningful training was officially conducted by the National Youth Commission (NYC) CALABARZON, led by Sir Mark Talajuron, as part of the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) SK-LYDC Training. The activity was strongly supported by the City Government of Imus, spearheaded by Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) Head Jericho Reyes and SK Federation President Glian Ilagan, bringing together youth leaders, student councils, and youth organizations from across the city.
Representing the CSG Imus was ๐๐๐ฉ๐ก ๐๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ, who joined fellow youth leaders in the collaborative formulation of programs and initiatives for the city's three-year youth development roadmap.
As part of the ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐๐), VP-External De Leon actively contributed, presented various recommendations and crafted proposed plans aimed at ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ, ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ, promoting awareness, and enhancing community involvement among the youth of Imus. These proposals were presented, exchanged, and refined alongside insights from different youth organizations and student leaders to ensure that the resulting Local Youth Development Plan reflects the diverse needs, priorities, and aspirations of the youth sector in the City of Imus.
The activity forms part of the city's continuous efforts to align local youth initiatives with the ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง (๐๐๐๐) and the Ten Centers of Participation of the National Youth Commission, establishing a more inclusive, responsive, and sustainable framework for youth development and empowerment.
Through this engagement, the CSG Imus reinforces its commitment to extending its role beyond the campus, actively participating in local governance spaces and ensuring that the ๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ก๐๐ง๐ฒ๐จ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ in shaping programs and policies for the youth.
