From the first whistle to the final goal, GK Tapaz showed the true meaning of "Gawad Kalinga" spirit. Through every challenge on the field, our youth displayed the grit and heart needed to finish on top.

Winning the Liga GK Capiz isn't just about the gold—it’s about the pride of our community and the determination of these incredible kids. We are so proud of you for bringing home the win!

Reflecting on February 28, 2026, we celebrate the incredible journey of our youth. For weeks, these kids practiced wholeheartedly every single day, pouring their sweat and spirit into every drill to prepare for Liga GK Capiz.
They’ve always carried big ambitions—dreaming of becoming our future doctors, engineers, and teachers. But through the grit and joy of this league, a new fire has been lit. Alongside those professional goals, they’ve officially added a new dream to their list: to become professional football players.
GK Tapaz didn’t just bring a team to the league; we brought a new generation of believers. 🎒⚽️

​Our village is more than just a collection of homes; it is a sanctuary of restoration born from the resilience of families who survived Typhoon Yolanda. Through the unwavering support of the Gawad Kalinga Foundation and our dedicated global partners, we have transformed a site of calamity into a thriving community of hope.

​🤝 Who We Are: The Kapitbahayan
​At the core of our village is the Kapitbahayan (KB)—a family of neighbors who believe that "neighbor" is a verb. We are a community bound together by a shared commitment to dignity, mutual respect, and the belief that no one should ever be left behind.

​⚖️ Our Governance and Values
​To ensure our village grows sustainably and stays true to its mission, we are led by KB Governance. This is a self-reliant leadership model where the residents themselves act as stewards of the community's peace and progress. Every member of the Kapitbahayan stands by these five sacred tenets:
