𝐔𝐒𝐁𝐊𝐓 | 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Usbong Kabataan – Tanza Chapter participated in the Psychological First Aid Training organized by the Local Youth Development Office of Tanza, represented by Chapter President Kristina Cassandra D. Soriano, Chapter Vice President Mark Andrie Casuyac, and Organization President Justine Marie Cayasa.

This training helped us learn how to support people going through difficult times, especially during emergencies and to use what we learned here to help others. It also reminded us of the importance of promoting and caring for mental health in our community🫂

Thank you to the speakers, Ms. Marie Imperial and Sir Smhiley Manalo from the Red Cross Cavite Chapter, as well as Sir Ragi Figueroa, for sharing your knowledge and experiences on this important topic.

Together, we learn to listen, support, and be there for others🩷

In the wake of Typhoon Crising, many families in the Municipality of Tanza, Cavite have been deeply affected—losing homes, livelihood, and access to basic needs. In response, Usbong Kabataan – Tanza Chapter has launched a donation drive to extend help and hope to our fellow Tanza residents who continue to endure the storm’s impact.

We gently knock on your hearts and ask for any support you can offer. Even the smallest contribution—whether in cash or in-kind—can bring comfort and relief to those in need.

Your kindness will go a long way in helping our community recover and rebuild.

LEARNING SESSION 📕

We recently held another meaningful event aimed at empowering young people to stand up against Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM). With these threats continuing to rise, especially those targeting children. It is more important than ever to raise awareness and collaborate to prevent abuse before it happens.

In partnership with Save the Children and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Punta Dos, we engaged local youth in conversations about online safety, establishing personal boundaries, and protecting themselves in digital spaces. By working alongside. We, youth leaders. We’ve transformed awareness into action by teaching them to say “NO”, encouraging open dialogue, and helping them to be confident in speaking up when they feel something isn't right
