Our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jaedicke Rhoss P. Dagadag , Vice Mayor Atty. Antonio Lobbangon Basungit Jr. Atty. Novie Matnao-Baclili, Municipal Administrator, the LGU family, Kalinga Ppo Tanudan Mps, and the warm and hospitable constituents of Barangay Lubo, proudly welcomed the fifteen (15)-member delegation from the Local Government Unit of Quezon, Bukidnon and Kalinga Provincial Tourism on July 3, 2026.
As part of their benchmarking visit, the delegation immersed themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Lubo through interviews with local farmers and demonstrations of the traditional practices of heirloom rice cultivation, from the customary preparations before planting to the time-honored harvesting traditions. They also gained valuable insights into the community's indigenous knowledge, sustainable farming methods, and deep respect for culture and nature, which have been faithfully preserved and passed down through generations.
We hope the valuable insights, experiences, and best practices they gained during their visit will serve as meaningful baon as they return to their municipality, inspiring them to strengthen and promote their own cultural and agricultural heritage.
