The recent flooding brought by Typhoon Uwan has left Lubo Elementary School in Tanudan, Kalinga devastated, classrooms were washed out, learning materials were lost, and even the bridge that connects the school to the community was damaged. Despite these challenges, the students and teachers continue to hold on to hope.

In response, the Central Student Government of Kalinga State University is launching a Donation Drive to help the school get back on its feet.

• Classroom chairs
• Books and learning materials
• School supplies
• Other classroom essentials

SK Lower Lubo Successfully Conducts 1st Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly and Youth Wellness Caravan

Lubo, Tanudan – On July 4, 2025, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Lower Lubo held its 1st Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly and Youth Wellness Caravan at Lubo, Tanudan, Kalinga. The event was organized in collaboration with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Tanudan and the Tanudan Department of Health - Human Resources for Health (DOH-HRH) team, with the goal of promoting health awareness among the youth and the broader community.

The Youth Wellness Caravan offered free services such as blood typing, PhilHealth registration, oral health information and education, and mental health awareness. These services were delivered by dedicated healthcare workers from Rhu Tanudan and the DOH-HRH team, ensuring accessible and essential health services for local residents.

The SK Lower Lubo extends its sincere appreciation to all Katipunan ng Kabataan members, guest speakers, barangay officials, and community participants for their valuable support and active involvement. Special thanks and deep gratitude are also extended to the RHU Tanudan and the DOH-HRH team for their unwavering assistance and commitment in delivering quality healthcare services. The event’s success reflects the collective commitment to empowering the youth and building a healthier, more informed, and united community.
