WHAT MAKES A PLAYER TOXIC?

Every community has different skill levels, play styles, and personalities. However, what truly harms the gel blaster hobby is not a player's experience or equipment, it's their attitude.

A toxic player is someone who consistently creates a negative environment for others. This includes refusing to call legitimate hits, arguing with referees or marshals, disrespecting teammates and opponents, overshooting out of anger, ignoring safety rules, or making excuses instead of accepting responsibility for their actions.

Toxicity also extends beyond the field. Spreading rumors, provoking arguments on social media, mocking beginners, humiliating other players and creating unnecessary drama just to divide the community instead of strengthening it.

Healthy competition inspires growth, while toxic behavior discourages new players from staying in the hobby. Every player represents not only themselves but also their team and the community they belong to. Respect, honesty, humility and sportsmanship should always come before personal pride or the desire to win.

Winning a match may earn temporary recognition, but earning the respect of others leaves a lasting legacy. The strongest communities are not built by the most skilled players but they are built by players who choose integrity over ego.

Don't be the reason someone loses interest in the hobby. Be the reason they want to keep playing.
