CALL FOR APPLICATION
Mural Painting Competition

The contest aims to promote awareness and understanding of the West Philippines Sea issue through artistic expression by students from participating academic institutions. It carries the theme:

"Nagkakaisang Kapuluan, Panatag na Karagatan"

Details of the activity are as follows:
1. Title of Activity: Mural Painting Contest - Information Campaign on the West Philippine Sea (WPS)
2. Organizer: National Intelligence Coordinating Agency - Region 10 (NICA-10) in partnership with the AFP units in Region 10
3. Objective: To produce multiple mural paintings that promote public awareness of the WPS issue
a. Eligibility: Open to High School and College Students in Region 10
b. Team Composition: 2 to 6 students per team
c. Mural Size: Minimum of 3 meters x 3 meters
d. Financial Support: Each participating team will receive 193,500.00 for painting materials, to be released through the proponent AFP units
e. Required Orientation: Organizational meeting on 10 November 2025 via Zoom, to discuss the contest mechanics and the WPS issue
f. Contest Period: 11-20 November 2025 (Mural Painting Period)
g. Submission Deadline: 21 November 2025 (submission of mural photos and three-paragraph insights)
h. Judging Date: 24 November 2025
i. Prizes:
• 1st Prize -P 15,000.00
• 2nd Prize -P 10,000.00
• 3rd Prize -P 5,000.00
• Consolation -P 2,500.00 each

The mural must prominently include the following elements: the Philippine Flag, Sea and Ocean, AFP and PCG forces deployed in the WPS, Government assets at sea, and the theme text in either Filipino or English.

Interested student-artist, please visit the OSAS or to the Office of the College President from November 7 until November 10, 2025. Please bring sample artwork or masterpiece (picture).
