AUGUST 26, 2026 | PRC Surigao del Sur chapter conducted a relief distribution activity for 90 families affected by residential fire incidents in Prk. 6 Maraville Village, Brgy. Tabon (August 6, 2026) and Prk. 5 Castillo Village, Brgy. Mangagoy, Bislig City (August 7, 2026).

Each affected family received a PRC Standard Family Hygiene Kit, blanket, bath towel, detergent bar, and 10-kg rice, while the team also conducted proper handwashing demonstrations and provided health services through a First Aid and Welfare Desk, catering to 21 beneficiaries for BP consultation and 18 beneficiaries for medicine dispensing.

The response was made possible through the support of PRC National Headquarters and items donated by Vicente T. Pimentel (VTP) Foundation, in coordination with Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office - Surigao del Sur for the vehicle used during the relief distribution. Thank you for the manpower from Bislig City LGU, CDRRMO, CSWDO, and barangay officials of Tabon and Mangagoy, with the dedicated efforts of PRC staff, Board of Director headed by Chairman Rosalinda C. Pimentel, and RC143 volunteers.
