BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur ---- The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of Bislig City successfully hosted the training seminar on 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦: 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦, 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗨𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 for Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Members.

Held at the CSWD Main Office Building- Women's Training Center, the activity was designed to elevate the governance and leadership skills of the city youth representatives.

The event underscores the City Government of Bislig's unwavering dedication to empowering its young constituents, ensuring that local youth leaders are active, articulate, and formidable partners in good governance and community development.

BUTUAN CITY ---- Key leaders of POINTY, Inc. in Caraga Region led by BOT Chairperson Glynmer A. Jamito, CHRA meets with the 4th Infantry Division's Assistant Chief of Staff for CMO COL RICKY CANATOY to discuss the sustainment program for peace.

This meeting highlighted the preparation for the declaration of the whole region as Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS).

The organization remains committed to support initiatives for long lasting peace and development of every community in Caraga.

BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur --- POINTY City Chapter actively participates in the CADT 239 IP Youth Team Building organized by Mgo Bataun tu Pangasanan - CADT 239 IPYO held at Tinuy-an Falls,Barangay Burboanan,Bislig City.

POINTY takes part in the Talk on Peace to share the organization's advocacy and the role of the youth in peace and development.

We thank the great opportunity that we are able to be part of this momentous event with our IP youth leaders.

TANDAG CITY - Provincial Youth Development Council convened today for the planning of SurSur Youth Pride, as part of the 66th Celebration of Araw ng Surigao del Sur.

The council also approved resolutions submitted to the Tanggapan ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Provincial Governors Office that strengthens the support of the Provincial Government to Youth Programs, Project and Activities.

PYDC remains committed to its mandate in ensuring that the youth welfare of the Province of Surigao del Sur will always be a top priority.

𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 & 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 | SAN MIGUEL, SURIGAO DEL SUR

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of San Miguel conducted a coordination meeting for the planning of the annual Youth Camp, an initiative aimed at addressing challenges faced by the youth.

The activity will gather 4Ps non-compliant students, CICL-CAR, and out-of-school youth to help develop their character, leadership, and sense of responsibility as future contributors to their communities.

The meeting was attended by the LYDO, 75th Infantry Battalion, 4Ps Focal Person, PYAP and representatives from POINTY, Inc., led by Provincial President Roberto A. Laurente Jr. and Youth Development Coordinator Ms. Camille Joyce P. Montenegro. POINTY, Inc. will serve as the lead facilitator in the implementation of the activity.

IN THE NEWS | National Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. questioned groups claiming that six of the 19 individuals killed in the encounter in Toboso, Negros Occidental on April 19 were civilians and not members of a rebel group.

According to the defense chief, those making the claims should present sources or evidence otherwise, the allegations would be considered “hearsay.”
