Red Mountain Masonic Lodge No. 241

Red Mountain Masonic Lodge No. 241 First name proposed for this lodge “laterite” a substance found in great abundance in Tandag, Surigao del Sur mountains.

Members, however feared that “laterite” may be too highbrow so they settled for Red Mountain, adverts to the color of the laterite.

Our heartfelt gratitude to VW Walderico Ruiz Bonifacio Jr., Brother Ram Rbp PepitoVW Are P*e Vee, WM Julius A Trinidad and VW Ariel Dela Torre Verano for their inspiring and enlightening Masonic Education for our petitioners. Their presentations emphasized that Freemasonry is not simply an organization to join, but a lifelong commitment to building one’s character, living with integrity, and serving both God and humanity.

The discussions reminded every petitioner that the true essence of Masonry lies in practicing Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth in everyday life. More than learning our traditions and principles, they were encouraged to become better husbands, fathers, professionals, and members of society.

As the petitioners continue their journey toward the Light, may the lessons they have received today serve as a firm foundation for a meaningful and honorable Masonic life. May they always remember that becoming a Mason is not the end of the journey—it is only the beginning of a lifetime dedicated to self-improvement, service, and unwavering fidelity to the Craft.

Fraternal thanks once again to our distinguished lecturers, whose dedication to Masonic education helps shape the future of our Fraternity.

“A Father, A Mason, A Builder of Character”

Father’s Day is a fitting time to honor the men who, like Master Masons, labor tirelessly in the quarry of life to shape and strengthen their families. A father is often a child’s first teacher, guide, and example of virtue. Through his love, discipline, and sacrifice, he helps lay the foundation upon which future generations are built.

Freemasonry teaches us the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth—values that faithful fathers practice every day. Like the working tools of our Craft, fathers use wisdom to guide, patience to nurture, and integrity to lead by example.

A Masonic father understands that his greatest legacy is not wealth or possessions, but the moral and spiritual lessons he imparts to his children. He strives to be a living example of honor, compassion, faith, and service.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, let us remember and honor all fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have helped shape our lives. May they continue to be pillars of strength in their homes and shining examples in our communities.

“A father teaches with love, a Mason leads by example, and together they build a better future.”

Happy Father’s Day to all our Brethren and fathers everywhere!

A Family Day celebration is more than just a gathering of Brethren and their loved ones—it is a reminder that the strength of our Lodge begins with the strength of our families. Freemasonry teaches us the values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, and these same values are first learned and practiced within our homes.

Family Day allows us to strengthen the bonds that unite us, not only as Masons but as fathers, husbands, sons, and community leaders.

Freemasonry reminds us that while we labor for the Craft, our family remains a paramount responsibility. A Mason’s true measure is seen not only in the Lodge room but also in the love, guidance, and example he provides at home.

“When families grow stronger, the Lodge grows stronger; and when the Lodge grows stronger, it can better serve humanity.”

Heartfelt Fraternal Appreciation

The Brethren of RMML 241 extend their sincere gratitude to VW Robert Floyd N. Salise of Timberland Masonic Lodge No. 219 for joining us and celebrating this special occasion with us. Your presence added meaning and fellowship to our gathering.

We likewise express our heartfelt thanks to Bro. Bon Salinas of Commonwealth Masonic Lodge No. 460 for graciously bringing our special guest, Richard Reynoso, whose presence made the event even more memorable.

Finally, our sincere appreciation goes to Bro. James Gofort for the warm hospitality and excellent accommodation provided at Boss James Resort Inn. Your kindness and generosity greatly contributed to the success and enjoyment of our Family Day celebration.

The June Regular Stated Meeting was a meaningful and productive gathering of the brethren, marked by fellowship, harmony, and a shared commitment to the principles and objectives of the Craft. Important matters concerning the welfare of the Lodge were discussed, allowing members to exchange ideas, review ongoing programs, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as Masons. The meeting reflected the Lodge’s dedication to continuous improvement, active participation, and service to the community.

Following the Regular Stated Meeting, the brethren witnessed the solemn and significant installation of our Grand Lodge Inspector, VWI Budong Martizano. The ceremony highlighted the trust and confidence bestowed upon him to serve as a vital link between the Grand Lodge and the constituent lodges under his jurisdiction. His installation symbolizes not only a new chapter of leadership but also a renewed commitment to uphold Masonic values, ensure adherence to established regulations, and promote unity among the brethren.

The occasion was further honored by the presence of our District Deputy Grand Master, VW Brandix Faelnar, whose attendance added prestige and inspiration to the event. His support and guidance underscored the importance of collaborative leadership and the collective responsibility of every Mason to contribute to the growth and advancement of the Fraternity.

As we move forward, the June meeting and installation serve as reminders of our enduring obligations, the value of dedicated leadership, and the strength that comes from working together in brotherly love, relief, and truth. We extend our congratulations to VWI Martizano and express our gratitude to VW Faelnar for gracing this memorable occasion. May this new term of service bring continued progress, harmony, and success to the Craft.

So mote it be.
