INAUGURAL MESSAGE OF THE NOBLE GRAND
My dear Brothers,
With profound humility and heartfelt gratitude, I stand before you today as your newly installed Noble Grand of Twin Linungao Lodge No. 64. This moment is both an honor and a solemn responsibility- an honor because of the trust you have bestowed upon me, and a responsibility because of the high standards of leadership, service, and brotherhood that our Order upholds.
I accept this office with a clear understanding that leadership in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows is not about position, recognition, or authority. It is about service-service to the Lodge, service to our brothers, and service to the community. It is about placing the welfare of the Brotherhood above personal interest, and about leading with humility, fairness, and integrity.
Our Order has endured the test of time because it is anchored on the enduring principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth. These are not ceremonial ideals reserved for rituals alone; they are living values that must guide our conduct as men and as brothers. Friendship calls us to unity and mu respect. Love compels us to care for one another and to extend compassion beyond our Lodge. Truth reminds us to act with honesty, accountability, and moral courage in all that
we do.
As I assume this role, I do so with deep respect for the brethren who came before me. I acknowledge our past Noble Grands, officers, and members whose dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance kept Twin Linungao Lodge No. 64 strong and relevant through the years. Your legacy inspires us, and your example sets the standard we must strive to uphold.
I also thank my immediate predecessor for the leadership and guidance that helped prepare the Lodge for this new chapter.
Brothers, my vision for this fraternal year is clear: a stronger, more united, and more active Lodge. I envision a Lodge where attendance is encouraged not by obligation but by genuine fellowship; where every brother feels valued, heard, and supported; and where our activities reflect not only tradition, but purpose.
Growth for us is not merely numerical-it is measured by the strength of our bond, the quality of our service, and the positive impact we leave on others.
This year, I hope to see greater participation from all members-young and seasoned alike. Each brother has talents, ideas, and experiences that can contribute to the good of the Lodge.
Let us use them. Let us revive the spirit of volunteerism, mentorship, and shared responsibility. When one brother succeeds, the Lodge is strengthened. When one brother struggles, the Lodge must stand ready to help.
To my fellow officers, I extend my hand in partnership and trust. Leadership is most effective when it is shared, collaborative, and grounded in mutual respect.
Let us work as one team, guided by our obligations and inspired by our commitment to the Brotherhood. May we always lead by example-firm in principle, compassionate in action, and faithful to our duties.
To the members of Twin Linungao Lodge No. 64, I humbly ask for your support, cooperation, and prayers. Challenge me when necessary, advise me when needed, and walk with me as brothers throughout this fraternal year.
This Lodge does not belong to one man or one set of officers - it belongs to all of us, and its future rests in our collective hands.
Brothers, as we move forward together, let us remain steadfast in our mission and faithful to our ideals. May our Lodge continue to be a place of friendship, a home of brotherly love, and a beacon of truth in our community.
Let our actions speak louder than our words, and let our service reflect the true spirit of Odd Fellowship.
Thank you for the honor of allowing me to serve as your Noble Grand.
May the Great Creator guide our decisions, strengthen our Brotherhood, and bless Twin Linungao Lodge No. 64 in all its undertakings.
Long live the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Long live Twin Linungao Lodge No. 64.
Mabuhay ang ating Kapatiran!
My Brothers, SO BE IT.
