CLUB HISTORY
(ROTARY CLUB AND ROTARACT OF MORONG-SIC)
Rotary club of Morong-SIC was chartered on January 14, 2021 under the leadership of Transporming President Abegail Yeke and Rotary Sponsoring Club under TP Errol Layacan of Rotary Club of Morong with the team they discovered a "New World of Service". Most of the members of Morong-SIC came from San Ildefonso College, the Rotaract Club of Morong
-SIC decided to have a Rotaract Club where in the College students of SIC are the members and the group was formally form and named, Rotaract Club of Morong-SIC. Rotaract Club is a service club for young men and women ages 18-30 who are dedicated to community and international service. Rotaract Club are self-governing and self-supporting and can be either be university or community based. Individual Rotary Club sponsor Rotaract Club and offer guidance and support, making the Rotaract Club through "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. Rotaract Club focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Clubs around the world also take part in international service project, in a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. Rotary Club and Rotaract Club of Morong-SIC do a lot of project inside and outside the school, community and for the environment. Now, for the new generation of membership and to have more and big population of Rotaract Club members under the term of First Class President Abegail Yeke, the group is now open to all College students of SIC.
