Today, August 22, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ulango headed by Hon. Ephraigme F. Bilog successfully conducted a meaningful First Aid Training for selected sixty-five learners of Ulango Integrated School from Grades 4–10, together with the SELG and SSLG Officers. The activity aimed to equip our young learners with basic knowledge and practical skills in first aid, emergency response, and appropriate actions during unexpected incidents.
The training reflects the commitment of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ulango to promote the safety, welfare, preparedness, and development of the youth in our community. With increasing safety concerns and incidents in and around school communities, strengthening the learners’ awareness and preparedness is an important step toward creating a safer, more responsive, and more resilient school environment.
Our heartfelt appreciation and special thanks to the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ulango, headed by Hon. Ephraigme F. Bilog, for initiating and supporting this valuable program; to our School Head, Ma’am Kaycee L. Ocampo, for her continued support; to our dedicated teachers and GPTA officers; to our resource speaker, Mr. Michael Barrion, Tanauan City First Aider, for sharing his knowledge, expertise, and practical skills; and most especially to our SELG and SSLG Officers and participating learners for their active participation and willingness to learn.
May the knowledge and skills gained from this training empower our learners to remain calm, prepared, and responsible in times of emergency. Together, let us continue building a school community where safety, preparedness, and care for one another come first.
