Today, we share the story of someone who faced one of life's stormiest moments, but discovered that she didn't have to face it alone.

Last June, I underwent surgery for chronic sinusitis and nasal cysts. Just five days later, I was rushed to the emergency room, struggling to breathe. After swift examinations, doctors diagnosed me with pneumonia and onset bronchial asthma. The situation was critical, and the doctor informed me that I needed to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

My husband had to leave me at the ER for his own scheduled dialysis session. With no other relatives nearby in Calamba, it could have been a terrifying, lonely experience.
Yet, I never felt alone.

I knew I had a spiritual family standing with me: my Feast Tanauan Family. I immediately asked them for prayers, and they responded without hesitation. I deeply believe in the power of intercessory and community prayer.

Lo and behold, God’s healing touched me right then and there. My breathing stabilized, and I never even had to go to the ICU.

I am not afraid during my stormiest days because I am shielded by the powerful prayer warriors of my Feast Tanauan family. Having one voice praying aloud to our Almighty God is more than enough, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

But sometimes, right in the middle of our storm, God reminds us that there are people standing with us, praying with us, and believing with us.

☀️ Maybe everything isn’t okay yet. And that’s okay.

But somewhere in the middle of everything, maybe God has already given you a little light.

A small answer. A little peace.
Someone who stayed.
Strength you didn’t know you still had.
A reason to keep going.

Sometimes, the light isn’t the end of the struggle. It’s the reminder that God is still with us through it. 💛

Today, take a moment to notice it. And thank God for it.

Yung matagal mo nang ipinagdarasal.
Yung hinihintay mong breakthrough.
Yung tanong na hanggang ngayon, wala pang malinaw na sagot.

Maybe today, you don’t need to figure everything out.
Just keep praying. Keep trusting. God hasn’t forgotten you. 💛

But maybe faith isn’t always about having all the answers. Sometimes, it’s choosing to move forward even when we don’t have them yet. 💛

This August 21, we’re visiting our Lolas at Sta. Ana-San Joaquin Bahay Ampunan Foundation, Inc. to spend time with them and share a little love.

And you can be part of it too. You can come with us, share food or needed supplies, extend financial support, or simply keep our Lolas and this mission in your prayers.

Hindi kailangang malaki. Whatever we can share, when given with love, can mean so much. 💛
