Bagama’t weekend, batid natin na may ilang paaralan sa ating lungsod na nakatakda pa ring magkaroon ng klase ngayong Sabado.

Dahil sa patuloy nating pagbabantay sa lagay ng panahon at batay sa pinakahuling Weather Advisory No. 25 ng DOST-PAGASA, mariin nating inirerekomenda sa mga paaralang may nakatakdang pasok na pansamantalang ihinto ang face-to-face classes at mag-shift muna sa alternative learning modality ngayong Agosto 8, 2026.

Ang hakbang na ito ay para sa kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, at school personnel—lalo na ng mga kinakailangang bumiyahe sa gitna ng patuloy na pag-ulan.

Patuloy nating imo-monitor ang sitwasyon. Mag-ingat po tayong lahat at manatiling nakaantabay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo.

Matapos ang patuloy na pagmamanman at paglalabas ng pinakahuling Weather Advisory No. 21 ng PAGASA ngayong alas-11:00 ng gabi, suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas, pampubliko at pribado, sa Lungsod ng Tanauan bukas, Agosto 7, 2026.

Nauunawaan ko ang pag-aalala ng ating mga magulang, mag-aaral, at g**o. Gayunman, ang pagsuspinde ng klase ay isang mahalagang desisyong hindi natin maaaring ibatay lamang sa haka-haka o sa forecast para sa ibang lugar. Kinailangan nating hintayin ang pinakabago at opisyal na datos na tiyak na sumasaklaw sa Batangas.

Ayon sa nasabing advisory, maaaring makaranas ang Batangas ng moderate to heavy rainfall na 50–100 mm mula ngayong gabi hanggang bukas ng gabi. Dahil sakop nito ang oras ng pagpasok at pag-uwi ng mga mag-aaral, minarapat nating suspendihin ang face-to-face classes (Shift to Alternative Learning Modality) bilang pag-iingat.

Ang paghihintay sa opisyal na batayan ay hindi pag-aalinlangan—ito ay bahagi ng maingat, responsable, at makatuwirang pagdedesisyon. Sa lahat ng pagkakataon, kaligtasan ng bawat Tanaueño ang ating pangunahing prayoridad.

Manatiling alerto at sumubaybay lamang sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Tanauan.
