Last 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 9, 2026, the outgoing SSM Officers proudly brought the SSM SHS Outreach Program, "Aklat Bookas," to life at Brgy. Balud, Tanauan, Leyte!

This project is initiated by 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧, this book donation drive aims to spark a love for reading and provide valuable resources to the youth. We were thrilled to make this happen in collaboration with 𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐘𝐎 led by 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧, an inspiring youth empowerment organization dedicated to sustainable development in education, agriculture, and the environment. 🌱🤝

A project like this thrives on community support. We want to extend a special 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒐 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒐, 𝑰𝒏𝒄. Your generous, voluntary book donations are the true heart of this project, and they have already brought so many smiles to our beneficiaries! ❤️📖

To the outgoing SSM Officers, thank you for leaving behind a legacy of service and learning. Let’s continue to empower our communities, one book at a time!

𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 1, 2026 || 📖 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐒𝐏Â𝐒𝐘𝐎! 🍽️

After months of anticipation, we are finally back at 𝐄𝐒𝐏Â𝐒𝐘𝐎. 🌦️💛 The 𝐑𝐓𝐆 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 showed up with so much 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, seeing their 𝐀𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐬 back again, ready to 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 in leveraging 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬.

As yesterday was the 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭, the kids read about the 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲.🌎 ✨ With the supervision of a bunch of 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬, the children discovered how the 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞. They also did a quick 𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 on the given reading material, making the learning more 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.💬📚

At the same time, we also welcomed 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. While they still barely 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬, they also learned about the creation story through the 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 given to them.🎨💛 The mix of 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐭 made this 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 and 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.

𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 (25) 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 and 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐨𝐧𝐞 (21) 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 joined the activity, including 𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 who volunteered for the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. Everyone ended the session happily sharing a lunch of rice, chicken adobo, vegetable lumpia, banana, and juice. 🍽️🧃🍌

Thank you to 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐋, 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 for their 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 and for always 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞.🙌

“Thousands have lived without love, not one without water.” - W. H. Auden

This World Water Day, we are reminded that water is not just a resource, it is life itself. Every drop carries the power to nourish, sustain, and connect us all.

At ESPÂSYO, we make every drop count. From watering our plants that give life to our space, to being mindful even in simple daily tasks like washing dishes, we practice intentional water use in everything we do. Our structures are also designed to collect and store rainwater, allowing us to maximize nature’s gift especially during rainy days. These efforts align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation, reminding us that responsible water use is a shared responsibility for a more sustainable future.

In small, consistent ways, we turn awareness into action. Because when we value water, we value life.

READ TO GROW 2026 | Year 4 📚🌱

Starting this March, Read to Grow continues its journey of planting seeds of learning and faith in the hearts of children. Inspired by the call to “Love God. Love People.” (Mark 12:30–31), young volunteers will gather in our mini library spaces to share stories that nurture both the minds and characters of our buddies.

Now on its fourth year, this initiative of ESPÂSYO, in collaboration with IVCF Tanauan, carries forward a shared vision of building communities where children discover the joy of reading, grow in safe spaces, learn and take action for the environment, and are protected from harms such as Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) through awareness, guidance, and community care.

Our sincere gratitude to MEANS Global for the partnership that helps make this mission possible.

By the youth, for the people. 📖✨
