📣 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW STAT OFFICERS ELECTED! 📣

The Secretaries and Treasurers Association of Talisay (STAT) – composed of our hardworking Barangay Secretaries and Barangay Treasurers – now has its newly elected leaders, thanks to an initiative by DILG Talisay headed by Maam Paola Ann Malunes, LGOO VI with the help of DILG Cluster Head Maam Maria Novee Mejica, LGOO VII!

These committed public servants are set to enhance coordination across Talisay's barangays, streamline administrative processes, and ensure efficient management of community resources. With DILG's guidance, STAT is poised to elevate local governance and better serve our barangay residents. 🙌💙

Building stronger communities, one barangay at a time! 🏘️

Last January 29, 2026, at Nature's Village Resort, we gathered key leaders from all 27 barangays of Talisay City, Negros Island Region – including Punong Barangays, Barangay Secretaries, and Barangay Treasurers for a Capability Enhancement and Implementation Assessment focused on the Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC), Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC), and other barangay-based institutions (BBI's).

The activity was spearheaded by DILG Talisay's Maam Paola Ann Malunes, LGOO VI and Ma'am Maria Novie Mejica, LGOO VII, DILG Cluster Head, with valuable participation from Talisay City PNP, PLTCOL ALvin Christopher L. Baybayan. Together, we worked to strengthen systems, align strategies, and ensure our grassroots units are equipped to keep our city safe and orderly.
