Why do we believe what we believe?

Most of us inherit beliefs before we ever examine them.

Some come from family.
Some from culture.
Some from experience.
Some from fear, comfort, pain, or belonging.

But the Bible repeatedly encourages discernment, wisdom, and self-examination — not blind certainty.

“Test all things; hold fast what is good.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:21

Jesus also said:

“You will recognize them by their fruits.”
— Matthew 7:16

That means beliefs are not only judged by how passionately they are defended, but also by the kind of fruit they produce:
Humility or pride?
Compassion or hatred?
Truth or deception?
Peace or division?

This is not about attacking faith.
It is about growing deeper in truth, wisdom, and discernment.

Because a faith unwilling to examine itself can easily become pride instead of truth.

Our nation might be going through conflict, corruption, reform, and change, but God is still sovereign. Believers are called not to lose hope, not to surrender to bitterness, and not to stop praying and doing what is right. Political seasons are temporary; God’s justice and truth endure.

To the working mom,
The Lord sees your dedication and faithfulness—you are not falling behind.

To the stay-at-home mom,
The Lord notices every quiet and unseen act of love, and none of it is in vain.

To the single mom,
The Lord is your strength and protector—you are never carrying this burden alone.

To the expecting mom,
The Lord created you with purpose and care, just as He lovingly formed the child within you.

To the new mom,
The Lord sees every sleepless night and every silent sacrifice. He will provide the grace and strength you need for this season.

To the mom with young children,
The Lord is using your love and guidance to help shape the next generation for His glory.

To the one who misses their mom,
The Lord draws near to the brokenhearted. Let Him comfort and carry you through your grief.

To the mom with grown children,
The Lord holds their future in His hands. Trust that He loves and cares for your children even more deeply than you do.

To the mom who has lost a child,
The Lord understands the depth of your sorrow. He is the God of all comfort, gently holding you through every moment of pain.
