Our freedom is a gift born from the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of those who came before us. Their history reminds us that independence is not only something we celebrate but also something we protect, strengthen, and pass on.

As JCI Philippines, we continue to answer the call to serve, lead, and create positive change in our communities. Guided by our theme “Sustain the Future,” we recognize that the freedom we enjoy today carries a responsibility: to build a nation that is more united, inclusive, resilient, and hopeful for the next generation.

🌊 Strengthening Leadership, Driving Progress in Western Visayas! 🌊

On May 23, 2026, the Western Visayas Region successfully held its 2nd Regional Council Meeting against the scenic backdrop of Alobijod Cove Beach Resort, Guimaras.

The productive session was led by Regional Vice President Richmond Mark Yanson, bringing together key regional leaders to map out the future of the organization.

Director Cris John Ortiz, shared crucial Quarter 2 updates and laid out the exciting upcoming plans and achievements of JCI Talisay for the first quarter of the year.

JCI Talisay congratulates Genesis Angelo Tan and the 2026 Board of Directors of JCI Aklan Kalantiao on the successful 45th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies held last May 17, 2026, at the Ati Village.

Love Unites indeed, as the community induction gave everyone the opportunity to get to know and connect with our brothers and sisters in the Ati community, making the event both meaningful and memorable.

JCI Talisay proudly congratulates Pres. Kaila Agarrado for being one of the graduates of this year’s Midyear Academy held in Boracay Island last May 15–17, 2026.

We also congratulate the MASARIG Presidents who graduated from the academy and continue their commitment to leadership and service.

Special thanks as well to JCI Aklan Kalantiao and JCI Antique Kruhay for organizing a meaningful event that gathered and inspired young leaders from across the country.

Last May 1, 2026, Junior Chamber International Philippines- Visayas leaders gathered at San Antonio Beach Resort for the 2nd Area Council Meeting hosted by JCI Panitan Tumandok under the leadership of LO President Ford John Duran.

The meeting was presided over by Area Vice President Vincent Von Nogra, bringing together leaders committed to creating sustainable impact in their communities.

Representing JCI Talisay were LO President Kaila Agarrado, Regional Vice President Richmond Yanson, and Regional Treasurer Reah Regalado-Yanson.

What an incredible turnout for a greener future! 🏃‍♂️🌍

Last April 24, the Talisay City Oval was buzzing with energy as nearly 200 runners came together for the Earth Walk, Run and Jam. This event was more than just a race; it was a powerful movement to promote environmental awareness and sustainability within our community.

As part of JCI’s initiative to encourage active and healthy lifestyles, we were thrilled to see community members, advocates, and partners standing (and running!) side-by-side for a shared cause.
