hUS Philippines an after school and study center Tangke, Talisay City, Cebu, The Philippines. It is also considered a dangerous place because of rampant illegal drug activities.

Barangay Tangke where hUS is located is considered to be the poorest barangay in the city. Lack of parental guidance, poverty and drugs leads to a high drop rate in the primary school and high school in the area. Two Groups: Schoolers & Non-Schoolers

On a given night, an average of 20 non schoolers and 25 non-schoolers come to hUS for a 2-3 hour study time. On Friday bible study, there is an av

erage of 45-50 kids who come listen to God’s word, learn worship songs and enjoy the fellowship. hUS aims to be:

a place where children CAN BE children, be INSPIRED to study well and HOPE for better tomorrow – ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
