Nagpakitang-gilas si 16-year-old swimmer Naithan Brent Ruyag ng Talisay City, Negros Occidental matapos makakuha ng multiple top placements sa AOSI Short Course Swimming Championships Bangkok 2026 noong August 29, 2026, na inorganisa ng Global Aquatics.

Si Ruyag, isang student ng Inocencio V. Ferrer School of Fisheries, ay nakipagsabayan sa international swimming competition at nagtala ng apat na 4th-place finishes, bukod pa sa iba pang top-10 placements.

Nakamit niya ang 4th place sa 50M Butterfly, 4th place sa 25M Butterfly, at 4th place sa 25M Freestyle. Nakuha rin niya ang 7th place sa 200M Freestyle, habang nagtapos naman siya sa 9th place sa 25M Backstroke at 9th place sa 100M Freestyle.

Sa paggabay ni Coach Cris Bancal, patuloy na naghahanda si Ruyag para sa susunod niyang kompetisyonโ€”ang Division Meet na nakatakda sa October 10โ€“11 at October 17โ€“18, 2026.

Matapos ang kanyang international stint sa Bangkok, muling tututok ang batang swimmer sa training bilang paghahanda sa local competition at panibagong pagkakataong maipakita ang kanyang husay sa swimming.

Last August 28, we came together as one IVFMSF family for a meaningful Mass Ceremony and the celebration of our schoolโ€™s 59th Foundation Day. โ›ช๐ŸŽ‰

It was a day filled with prayers, gratitude, laughter, and memories shared with fellow students, teachers, and the whole school community. More than just celebrating another year, we also celebrated the people and experiences that have been part of IVFMSFโ€™s journey throughout the years. ๐Ÿ’™

As we continue to grow together, may we always carry the lessons, values, and memories weโ€™ve gained along the way.
