๐ฌ BITSO-BITSO
Official Entry of Inocencio V. Ferrer Memorial School of Fisheries
After giving up her dream of becoming a nurse to care for her ailing father, a gifted valedictorian is drawn toward an opportunity that promises financial relief but threatens everything she believes in. As desperation closes in, Celia must decide what she is willing to sacrifice and what she refuses to lose.
Bitso-Bitso is a compelling drama that explores the difficult choices faced by many young Filipinos caught between personal aspirations and family responsibility. Through Celia's journey, the film examines the cost of survival, the resilience of the human spirit, and the quiet courage required to hold on to one's values when life offers no easy answers.
As the ninth and final official finalist of the 1st TaliSine Short Film Festival, this film completes a diverse lineup of student-produced stories that celebrate the creativity, imagination, and storytelling talent of Talisay City's young filmmakers. Together, these nine films reflect the voices, experiences, and aspirations of a new generation eager to tell stories that matter.
The countdown to the festival is almost over. Soon, these stories will leave the page and come alive on the screen!
