The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Zone 3, along with 10 other exemplary SK Councils, received a certificate of recognition during the Monday flag-raising ceremony held earlier this morning, October 21, 2024, at the New Talisay City Hall. This recognition highlights their achievement of passing the 2024 Sangguniang Kabataan Functionality Assessment (SKFA) conducted by the Province of Negros Occidental.

The SKFA is an annual evaluation that assesses the effectiveness and functionality of SK councils across the province, measuring their performance in governance, youth development programs, and community involvement. Out of the many SK councils in Negros Occidental, the SK of Barangay Zone 3 was among those recognized for their dedication and service to the youth and their communities.
