For the safety, health and well-being of everyone in our community, we respectfully remind all homeowners, tenants, and workers that the burning of leaves, garbage, and other waste materials is strictly prohibited.

Open burning releases harmful smoke and toxic pollutants that can cause respiratory illnesses, pose fire hazards and negatively impact the environment and the quality of life within our neighborhood. Proper waste segregation, composting of biodegradable materials and disposal through authorized waste collection services are encouraged instead.

Please be reminded that under 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐍𝐨. 𝟗𝟎𝟎𝟑 (𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟎), open burning of solid waste is prohibited and may result in penalties, including fines and imprisonment as provided by law.

Let us all do our part in keeping Carmen Village clean, safe, healthy and environmentally responsible. Your cooperation and commitment to responsible waste management are greatly appreciated.

The Carmen Village Homeowners and Residents Association, Inc. has recently elected its new set of officers. Below are the duly elected officers who will serve the community for the current term.

These officers are committed to promoting order, safety, and the overall welfare of the village, as well as ensuring that community rules and programs are properly implemented.

For any concerns, requests, or issues related to the village, you may directly coordinate with any of the officers.

The newly elected CVHRAI officers took their oath of office before Barangay Captain Edward Alesna on July 11, 2025 at the Poblacion Barangay Hall in Talisay City Cebu.

This new set of officers is now officially mandated to serve the homeowners and residents of Carmen Village, with a shared commitment to promote unity, ensure community welfare and uphold the best interests of the village.

It has come to our attention that incidents of robbery have resurfaced in our area.

We must remain vigilant, as these crimes persistently threaten our homes. Despite the installation of village gates and the contributions from proactive homeowners toward the guards’ salaries, our collective vigilance is still essential.

There have been reports of incidents shared on Ang Tingog sa Talisay FB Page occuring in nearby neighboorhoods and they are coming closer to our Village. If you notice any unfamiliar faces or suspicious activity, please alert your fellow homeowners immediately.

Remember, prevention is better than cure.
