YES‑O Mangrove Planting 2026!
On March 22, 2026, the Youth for Environment in School – Organization (YES‑O) successfully conducted its final yearly activity for School Year 2025–2026. More than 30 dedicated YES‑O members joined this meaningful and memorable Mangrove Planting at Zone 15, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Protecting nature is not just a choice, it is our responsibility. Every small action creates a big impact. By simply helping to care for our environment, we show gratitude to the Earth that sustains us.
Mangrove planting is more than just an activity; it is a privilege and a purpose. Mangroves Help protect coastal residents by reducing floods and storm surges.
Provide cleaner air and a safer environment.
Serve as a natural habitat for small living creatures like fish, crabs, and shellfish.
Strengthen climate resilience and safeguard biodiversity for future generations.
This initiative proves that when young people unite for a cause, the impact reaches far beyond the shoreline, it touches lives, communities, and the future of our planet.
A heartfelt thank you to all the YES‑O members who actively participated and gave their time, energy, and commitment. Your hands planted not only mangroves but also hope, protection, and responsibility for the generations to come .
