“Thank you for the food and school supplies!” – 9-year-old Jeecob



For children Jeecob’s age in his community in the rural Philippines, school is not a given. Many children end their education early to go to work, contributing what little they can to overstretched household budgets. But for Jeecob, a guaranteed meal at school makes education possible. And it’s thanks to your support!

Unlike public schools in the U.S., most Filippino schools do not receive government funding for meals. In recent years, shifts in national funding have left local governments unable to cover the gap, creating a shortfall for the school-based meal program. With your help, Feed the Children is able to be a global partner to reach children like Jeecob and provide food where it is needed most.

“Because of Feed the Children, many children are inspired to go to school and have minimized hunger among children. They are a big support to our community,” says Jeecob’s mother, Rowena.

A single nutritious meal can change the course of a child’s life, and a family’s future. With your support, Feed the Children can reach more communities like Jeecob’s, providing children with food, essentials, and the opportunities they need to learn and thrive.

For 6 years, you have faithfully given school supplies to us, your scholars here at Jaclupan Elementary School. Your support did more than fill our bags — it filled our hearts with hope. Because of your kindness, we were able to study better, dream bigger, and believe that someone believes in us. Thank you for choosing to invest in our future year after year. In behalf of FTC VOLUNTEERS we would like to thank FEED THE CHILDREN (FTC) for conducting 2days (April 23-24,2026) LIFE SKILLS TRAINING and choosing Barangay Jaclupan Elementary students (limited students)as one of your beneficiaries in this program. It is a memorable experience for our kids and a lot of lesson that they've learned. To our active Barangay Captain Hon. Marisa Nolasco Orbiso and Barangay Councils thank you for giving us a comfortable and nice venue. To all the parents who let their children joined this kind of activity, thank you mommies.
