She’s giving rainbow, she’s giving flair- but plastic lighters? Still giving pollution. 😬

Millions of them get dumped every year, and instead of disappearing, they end up in the ocean, wrecking ecosystems, and messing with marine life. 🐢💔

Opting for refillable lighters (or a match) or safer alternatives is a chic and responsible choice. Keep it cute and eco, bestie. 💙

🌏✨ On the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home, the Research and Advocacy for Climate Policy and Action (RACPA) Project Consortium humbly joins the global community in renewing our commitment to ecological justice.

RACPA is a five-year initiative (2023–2028) led by a consortium comprising the Jesuit Refugee Service Asia Pacific (JRSAP), Indonesia’s Percik Institute, and the Philippines’ Environmental Science for Social Change (ESSC). We are grateful for the support of Caritas Australia and the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) of the Australian Government.

We recognize that the path to caring for our common home is both urgent and evolving. With humility and resolve, we strive to embody the spirit of Laudato Si’, guided by our Care for Our Common Home Guidelines. Through collaborative research, community-rooted advocacy, and bold climate action, we walk alongside those most affected by ecological and climate disruption.

May we continue to act justly, walk humbly, and care deeply—for one another and for the Earth we share. 🌿💚
