Congratulations to Hon. Herben Rhoy Ranay, our Founder and CEO of Boholano Youth Ambassadors, for being elected as the Presiding Officer of the 13th National Youth Parliament — one of the highest and most respected youth leadership positions in the Philippines.

As a true Boholano leader, Herben has carried our province’s identity, courage, and humility with him throughout the national assembly. His election is not just a personal achievement — it is a victory for every young Boholano who dreams of leading, serving, and shaping a better future.

Herben has always believed that leadership is not about titles, but about purpose. Through years of grassroots work, community development, and youth empowerment, he has shown what it means to listen, to unite, and to build bridges across divisions. His role as Presiding Officer is a testament to his integrity, dedication, and unwavering passion for public service.

We are deeply honored that the voice of a Boholano — our very own Founder — now leads youth leaders from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in crafting policies and resolutions that will impact the Filipino youth nationwide.

FULL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR BOHOLANO MEDICAL STUDENTS

Dreaming of becoming a doctor? Here's your chance! Gullas College of Medicine, Inc. and Boholano Youth Ambassadors, Inc. have partnered to offer a FULL SCHOLARSHIP for aspiring Boholano medical students to pursue a Doctor of Medicine degree in Cebu City! 🎓💉

What’s Included?
✔️ Full Tuition Fee Coverage for all four years of the program.
✔️ Books and Learning Materials to support your studies.
✔️ Accommodation and Meals in Cebu City.
✔️ ₱7,000 Monthly Stipend for personal expenses.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Who Can Apply?
✅ Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in any field (medicine-related or not).
✅ New Graduates: Those who just completed their bachelor’s degree.
✅ Transferees: Medical students who need financial support.

1️⃣ Low-income family. - (Bring a Notarized Affidavit of Low Income/No Income).

Happy Birthday Yvux A. Apawan! Wishing you more birthdays to come! Thank you for being a part of this amazing platform! 💪🏼🙏🏻

Seeing the excitement in the eyes of my fellow TRIBE Builders (who always look forward to volunteering), the solid support and encouragement from our mentors and core team, the trust and confidence from partners and stakeholders, and the warm reception and appreciation by the community – these are the fuel that keeps us going.

Despite the initial setbacks, there’s no turning back! The paradigm shift in consciousness among the youth of Talibon from apathy to co-ownership of the problem, as well as finally breaking of the Bol-anon stereotype of “Ija-Ija, Aho-Aho” (what’s yours is yours, what’s mine is mine), makes me say that these sacrifices are worth it.

In the course of six months, I would say that this rollercoaster experience have humbled and changed me a lot.

I was trapped in the shackles of cynicism and in the darkness of self-doubt. The yellow jacket inspires me to liberate myself through a leap of faith and turn my doubts into hope and visions into reality. The yellow jacket is a story of miracle of how I even got here and how I have finally found myself by losing myself in the service of others in a cause that’s much more noble and bigger than my passing needs or concerns.

This is where that crossroad of my life has brought me. The journey may be hard and is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but it was well worth it because I pursued a path that has brought me closer to my heart’s calling. And when your heart whispers to you, you can never go wrong because it never lies. With that, I will be forever grateful.
