🌱 Growing a Greener Future Together | Linggo ng Kabataan 2026

As we bring our Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration to a meaningful close, we ended with an activity that goes beyond the celebration, our Tree Planting Activity. 🌱💚

Together with the youth of Talayan, we planted not only trees, but also a shared commitment to protecting our environment and building a greener, safer, and more sustainable future for the next generation.

Our heartfelt appreciation to the MDRRMO of Talayan, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Fire Protection(BFP)and Philippine National Police (PNP) for joining and supporting our youth in this meaningful initiative.

We also extend our gratitude to our Municipal Mayor Datu Tungkang A. Midtimbang for the continued moral support and encouragement for programs that empower the youth and promote environmental responsibility.

🌿 From youth participation to environmental action, Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 ends with a legacy that continues to grow.

LOOK | The Municipality of Talayan, Maguindanao del Sur officially opens its Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration!

Today’s celebration highlighted the 4th Youth Development Session, “Youth in Action: Leading with Purpose, Living Healthy, Building a Better Future,” providing a meaningful space for the youth to learn, participate, share ideas, and strengthen their leadership and commitment to the community.

The session was made more meaningful through the valuable insights and discussions shared by our resource speakers, who generously shared their knowledge and experiences with our young participants.

The activity was graced by the presence and support of MLGOO Ma’am Heria P. Dalantay, PhD., ENP; Municipal Administrator Abdul Maulah M. Ulama; SB on Youth Hon. Samuel K. Midtimbang; LYDO; and SK Federation President Hon. Jamil M. Abo. We sincerely thank you for being part of this meaningful celebration and for your continued support for the youth.

We likewise extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Municipal Tourism Officer, Madam Bai Sarita G. Midtimbang; Vice Mayor Hon. Angelita S. Midtimbang; and, of course, Municipal Mayor Hon. Datu Tungkang A. Midtimbang, for their unwavering support and commitment to the youth of Talayan.

And most importantly, thank you to all the SK Chairpersons and all the youth who joined and participated in today’s celebration. Your presence, energy, and enthusiasm made the opening of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 truly meaningful.
