ASKI Skills and Knowledge Institute Inc Our efforts are grounded following Jesus’ example on being an advocate of the poor, to not just feel compassion but to look into their needs.

In June 2010, ASKI Skills and Knowledge Institute was established as a non-profit organization with the purpose of delivering quality education and training to its beneficiaries, it aims to provide programs which promote both education and skills necessary to prepare and empower people for leadership in their community and success in their personal lives. And because we believe that education can prevent the transmission of poverty between generations, It is our goal that as many underserved youth as possible will have access to learning opportunities they deserve without compromising quality & affordability and to produce highly competitive graduates which will later help address unemployment.

Hey, ASKIANS! 👀 Do you sing, play an instrument, or simply have a heart that beats for worship? This might be YOUR calling! 🎤🎸🥁

The ASKI PRAISE AND WORSHIP TEAM is looking for students who are ready to use their God-given talents to lead others closer to Him. It’s time to turn those practice sessions into a meaningful offering of praise! ✨

📣 HERE’S THE CHALLENGE!
✅ Form a group of 3–5 members.
✅ Prepare a 5-minute joyful and solemn praise and worship performance.
✅ Choose a Bible verse to share before your performance.
✅ Bring your own musical instruments!

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a GROUP AUDITION ONLY! Solo performances are NOT allowed. Make sure to form a group of 3–5 members before joining. Let’s worship and serve together!

Remember: Worship isn’t about having the loudest voice or the greatest musical skill. It’s about having a heart ready to serve.

HIGHLIGHTS | SSLG Leads Teachers’ Day Celebration for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff 💙🎉

In celebration of Teachers’ Day, our Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers took the initiative to organize a special celebration dedicated to our hardworking teaching and non-teaching staff.

Through their creativity, teamwork, and thoughtful efforts, the SSLG officers orchestrated activities prepared to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of the people who continuously support, guide, and inspire our learners.

The celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for our learners to express their gratitude and appreciation to the educators and school personnel who play an important role in our school community.

We commend our SSLG Officers for their initiative and commitment in making this celebration possible. Their efforts reflect the spirit of student leadership, service, and appreciation.

💬 A REMINDER FOR EVERY PARENT

During our seminar, our Guest Speaker shared a powerful reminder that deserves to stay with us beyond the session:

“BEHIND EVERY DIFFICULT BEHAVIOR IS AN UNMET NEED.”

Sometimes, what we see as disobedience, stubbornness, silence, anger, or defiance may be a child’s way of communicating something they do not yet know how to express.

As parents, may we learn to look beyond the behavior and ask:

“What is my child trying to tell me?”
“What does my child need right now?”
“How can I respond with understanding before I respond with correction?”

Because parenting is not only about correcting behavior, it is also about understanding the heart behind it. ❤️

May this seminar remind us that behind every behavior is a story, behind every reaction is an emotion, and sometimes, behind every difficult moment is simply a child longing to be seen, heard, understood, and loved.

✨ Listen beyond the behavior.
Look beyond the reaction.
Understand the need.

🏡 HOME: Where Your Teen Feels Heard, Safe, and Loved

“Building Trust, Open Communication, and Stronger Family Connections”

During our Parents’ Seminar, our parents were reminded that home is more than a place we return to, it is a space where our teenagers should feel heard without judgment, safe enough to be vulnerable, and loved without condition. ❤️

Through the meaningful insights shared by our Guest Speaker, Ylona Veronica Aben-Bayod, RPsy, RPM, LPT, our parents were encouraged to look beyond the words and behaviors of their teens and to understand the heart behind them.

Because sometimes, our teenagers do not need another lecture. They need someone who will listen. Sometimes, they do not need immediate solutions. They need to know that they are safe to share. And sometimes, what they need most is simply the assurance: “Anak, nandito ako. Mahal kita. You are always welcome home.” 🏡✨

May this seminar inspire every parent to build a home where conversations are open, trust is nurtured, mistakes are met with grace, and every child knows that home will always be a place where they belong.

Because strong families are built not only by providing for our children, but by being present for them.
