I strongly and unequivocally condemn the killing of Lister Payot Guzman, a Hugpong Tagumenyo Youth leader whose courage and dedication to service will not be forgotten. His death is a heinous and senseless act that violates the sanctity of life and strikes at the very heart of justice and public order.

This brutal crime has no place in Tagum City. Violence, especially when used to silence those who stand on principle and serve the people, will never be tolerated. As Former Mayor and Vice Mayor, I call for a swift, thorough, and transparent investigation. Those responsible must be identified, arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Justice must be served without delay.

I urge the public to remain calm, united, and vigilant, to reject violence and misinformation, and to fully cooperate with authorities. We extend our deepest condolences to Lister’s family and pray for his eternal rest. Tagum City stands firm in its demand for justice.

“𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒉𝒊𝒖𝒔𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒃𝒅𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒂 𝒌𝒖𝒔𝒐𝒈.”

TYSOO successfully conducted the 2026 Panagtapok of Youth Leaders, an activity that strengthened unity and fostered deeper bonds building not just leadership, but a family as one.

This meaningful activity was wholeheartedly supported by TYSOO Founder Allan Lopez Rellon, who continues to guide and inspire the youth of Tagum City toward becoming better leaders of tomorrow.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support of the Office of the City Vice Mayor, headed by Hon. Atty. Eva Lorraine “Lingling” Estabillo, for the continued support to TYSOO leaders. Our sincere thanks as well to the Office of the Provincial Governor Kuya Gov Edwin Jubahib, the Office of the Vice Governor, Clarice Jubahib, and Board Member Ronald Eliot, whose support contributed greatly to the success of this activity.
