Preparedness is more than a skill—it is a responsibility that empowers every individual to protect lives when it matters most.

On July 17, 2026, the Saint Mary's College of Tagum, Inc. Tertiary Education Program successfully conducted its Disaster Preparedness Orientation and Emergency Drill at the M. Ignacia Gymnasium, equipping Marian students with essential knowledge and practical skills in disaster response, emergency evacuation, and basic first aid.

The volunteers of the SMCTI College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) proudly stood at the forefront of this initiative, assisting in the facilitation of the orientation and emergency drill to ensure its safe and successful implementation. Through teamwork, discipline, and service, our volunteers helped foster a culture of preparedness and resilience within the Marian community.

Preparedness begins with awareness, and every drill is an opportunity to become better equipped to protect ourselves and others.

Together, let us continue building a campus where readiness, compassion, and service remain at the heart of every action.

The SMCTI College Red Cross Youth extends a warm welcome to our newest volunteers who have officially joined the organization for A. Y. 2026-2027.

Please be reminded that all students enrolled in the Nursing Program are automatically considered members of the CRCY, given the alignment of the program with our organization's mission and advocacies.

Additionally, Nursing students who have completed relevant Red Cross trainings or seminars, as well as those who wish to volunteer, are encouraged to join our official group chat, where updates, activities, and schedules will be regularly posted.

𝙒𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙀 𝙎𝙀𝙍𝙑𝙄𝘾𝙀 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘾𝙃𝙀𝙎 ⛑️💙

The streets of Tagum City came alive as Davao del Norte celebrated its 59th founding anniversary through the Kadagayaan Fiesta Float and Music Parade, drawing together institutions, organizations, and communities in one moving celebration of local identity.

Joining this year’s parade, the St. Mary’s College of Tagum, Inc. College Red Cross Youth (SMCTI CRCY) proudly participated alongside the Philippine Red Cross Youth – Davao del Norte Chapter Youth Council, marched with pride, representing a tradition of volunteerism grounded in Faith, Excellence, and Service.

In the words of 1 Peter 4:10, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” As Davao del Norte moves forward, may this celebration affirm that meaningful progress is built not only through development, but through people willing to serve others.
