Week 2 of our TBH Series is done! 🫶💥

To Be Honest . . .
How has our series been for you?
Has it revealed the true condition of your heart?
How has God helped you in dealing with the “heart issue” in your life?

On Week 2, we talked about “Hatred” from the life of Cain and Abel.

The question is: How did that hatred grow in Cain’s heart?
And where does that hatred ultimately come from?

In Genesis chapter 3, we’ve seen God forbid Adam and Eve to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But when the serpent tempted them and they ate the fruit, they realized they were naked and hid from the presence of the LORD. From that moment, sin entered into our world, and that includes what we now call “Hatred.”

In Genesis chapter 4, we read the story of Cain and Abel, the sons of Adam and Eve. Over time, Cain murdered his younger brother Abel because God had more regard for Abel’s offering than Cain’s.

This stirred up hatred in Cain’s heart. That hatred grew and took deep root in him, eventually leading him to murder his brother.

Ultimately, it wasn’t just about God disregarding Cain’s offering, it was a consequence, a domino effect, of Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the garden. The curse was passed on, and sin began to reign in humanity. This is what we call the fall of humanity.

When Jesus came, His life, death, and resurrection addressed the problem of sin. He offered forgiveness to those who believe and gives us the assurance that our sinful hearts can be changed as we follow Him in this life.

Only Jesus can heal every heart issue, and He wants us "To Be Honest" with whatever issues we are dealing with. ❤️‍🩹

Week 1 of our TBH Series is done! 🫶🔥

How has the first week of the series been for you so far?

This week, we talked about envy, where it comes from and how it affects the way we live and relate to others.

Envy means wanting what someone else has. It’s when you feel upset or unhappy because another person has something, like possessions, success, or talents that you wish you had too.

We’re not supposed to envy others because God created us “good,” as He said in His Word. But when Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit, sin entered the world, and that includes envy.

Envy is a condition of the heart that shows how disconnected we are from God. We often think we envy others because they have something we don’t, but the real reason is deeper: our hearts have been corrupted by sin.

When Jesus came, He showed us how broken our hearts truly are, but He also brought good news. He is the only one who can heal our hearts and give us true satisfaction—at the CROSS.

Sometimes we think we’ll stop feeling envious if we finally get what others have, but that’s not the solution. Only Jesus can satisfy the deepest longings of our hearts.

Do you struggle with envy? Go to Jesus. He’s the answer. ❤️

🚨 NEW SERIES ALERT! 🫶✨

"TBH... To Be Honest"

Let’s be real—
We all say “to be honest…” right before we drop what’s really going on in our hearts. This new series is all about that kind of real talk—no filters, no pretending.

We’re diving into the stuff that’s often hidden: our thoughts, emotions, struggles, and even the things we don’t say out loud. Why? Because what’s happening inside us will always show up in how we live, love, and relate with others (and God).

👀 What if the very things you’ve been ignoring are the ones quietly shaping your future?

This is your chance to get honest with yourself, let God speak truth into your situation, and begin living a life that’s free, whole, and pleasing to Him.

📍 Don't miss it. Invite your friends. It’s gonna be raw, real, and powerful.

Let’s talk. Let’s be honest. Let’s grow. ❤️‍🔥

"The Future Is Now" Week 1 is done! 🫶

How has Week 1 of our series been for you?

In this generation, we need someone like Jeremiah, someone who knows his identity, understands his God-given purpose, and remains faithful to what God is calling him to do. 🙌

Let’s be like Jeremiah in this generation, someone who will represent Jesus on our campus, in our families, and in every part of society. ✨

Don’t miss out on this powerful topic, the final message of our series. See you at Youth Service!
