We praise the Lord for the gift of your priesthood and for the twenty years you have devoted to guiding the faithful with wisdom, compassion, and steadfast service. Through your words that inspire, your counsel that uplifts, and your example of humility, you have touched countless lives and strengthened the faith of many.

Let us all take a moment to wish him well and greet him warmly on this special milestone. May the Lord continue to bless him with wisdom, joy, and enduring strength as he shepherds the flock entrusted to his care.

On February 28, 2026, the Christ the King Cathedralโ€™s Diocesan Youth Apostolate Mini Deanery coordinators, presidents, and representatives came together for a ๐—ฝ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด. The gathering centered on strengthening unity and preparing for future parish activities that will inspire both faith and service.

The day started with the ๐—ช๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ธ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ, which was joined by the youth along with the different ministries of the church. This event reflected the parishโ€™s shared commitment to uphold life and to witness the power of community in action.

The meeting also included the ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜„ ๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐˜€, ensuring that leadership will continue to guide the youth apostolate in its mission. This moment marked a renewal of dedication, with new leaders ready to serve and bring fresh energy to upcoming activities.

We are filled with joy and gratitude as we celebrate this yearโ€™s Flores de Mayo with the simple yet meaningful theme, โ€œSama ni Mariaโ€ โ€” a gentle reminder to walk with Mary in faith, love, and humility. This month-long devotion brought together children, youth, and GKK members in offering flowers and prayers to our Blessed Mother, keeping alive a tradition that continues to strengthen our faith and unity as a community.

The theme โ€œSama ni Mariaโ€ invites us to follow Maryโ€™s example by saying โ€œyesโ€ to God each day. Like her, we are called to trust in His plan and obey His will with open and willing hearts.

We express our heartfelt thanks to Sem. Luis Angelo Omila, thank you for your inspiring Catechesis Talk to the children. Your words helped deepen our love and understanding of our Blessed Mother and inspired us to grow in our faith.

To our dedicated Youth Leaders, led by PYC Jerson Pagay, thank you for your energy, commitment, and hard work. Your efforts were truly essential in making this celebration a success.

We are also deeply grateful to our Rector, Assistant Parish Priests, and the KPKKA for your unwavering support and guidance throughout the entire event.

Indeed, Flores de Mayo 2025 was a beautiful and grace-filled celebration. Through every flower offered and prayer lifted, we experienced the love of God and Mary in a special way. May this encounter continue to lead us closer to Christ as we journey each day with our Blessed Mother.
