| 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

A heartfelt reflection from 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆, Diocesan Youth Coordinator of Christ the King Cathedral Parish, as he shared his experience during the 𝗗𝗬𝗖𝗖 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

His story reminds us that every encounter has a purpose. Through the 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, we gain new perspectives, become more humble, and recognize how 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 at the right time.

This retreat was more than a gathering—it became a journey of 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, not only as youth leaders but as individuals growing in Christ.

We praise the Lord for the gift of your priesthood and for the twenty years you have devoted to guiding the faithful with wisdom, compassion, and steadfast service. 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On February 28, 2026, the Christ the King Cathedral’s Diocesan Youth Apostolate Mini Deanery coordinators, presidents, and representatives came together for a 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. The gathering centered on strengthening unity and preparing for future parish activities that will inspire both faith and service.

The day started with the 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, which was joined by the youth along with the different ministries of the church. This event reflected the parish’s shared commitment to uphold life and to witness the power of community in action.

The meeting also included the 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀, ensuring that leadership will continue to guide the youth apostolate in its mission. This moment marked a renewal of dedication, with new leaders ready to serve and bring fresh energy to upcoming activities.

The youth are encouraged to remain active in the parish and take part in its activities with enthusiasm. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵‑𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.
