😇 Day 7 - Thanksgiving Day

As part of the Girl Scout Week 2026 celebration, the Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School observed Thanksgiving Day through a meaningful celebration of faith, gratitude, and appreciation.

The Girl Scouts joined the Holy Mass and actively participated by being in charge of bringing the in-kind offerings to the altar. Through this simple yet meaningful responsibility, the girls were reminded to recognize and give thanks for the blessings, guidance, protection, and opportunities they have received from God.

The Girl Scouts were also given an opportunity to reflect on the people and experiences that have made a positive impact on their lives. Each girl wrote a personal Thank-You Letter expressing her gratitude to God, her family, her friends, and the people around her who continue to support and inspire her.

As a special part of the activity, the girls also wrote a Thank-You Letter to Themselves—a personal reminder to appreciate their own strength, courage, growth, and perseverance. Through this reflection, they acknowledged that despite the challenges they have faced, they have continued to move forward and overcome difficulties.

The Thanksgiving Day activity reminded the Girl Scouts that gratitude is not only about being thankful for blessings but also about appreciating the people who journey with us and recognizing our own strength through life's challenges. It was a simple but heartfelt celebration that encouraged the girls to carry an attitude of thankfulness, faith, and appreciation beyond Girl Scout Week 🙏🤍

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Day 6 - Family Day

As part of the celebration of the Girl Scout Week 2026, the Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School participated in a meaningful Family Tree Activity🎨✍️

Each Girl Scout created her own family tree, showcasing the members of her family and recognizing the important people who have shaped her life. Through this activity, the girls were able to express their creativity while appreciating the love, support, and values they receive from their families ❤️

The activity served as a simple yet meaningful reminder that the family plays an important role in every Girl Scout’s growth and development 💚

🤝 Day 5: Partnership Day

In celebration of Girl Scout Week 2026, the Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School conducted Partnership Day by visiting the office of City Councilor Hon. Uloy Ong to explore opportunities for collaboration and support for our upcoming activities.

We are grateful for the warm accommodation and meaningful message shared by Hon. Uloy Ong with our Girl Scouts. He encouraged the girls to prioritize their studies, value themselves, and avoid comparing or being envious of others. He reminded them to recognize their own strengths and continue developing themselves as young women.

Hon. Uloy also asked the Girl Scouts about the activities they would like to undertake. The girls expressed their interest in leadership training, first aid training, and other community-based activities.
Hon. Uloy assured the girls that his office would be willing to accommodate and collaborate with the Girl Scouts in these meaningful activities.

The Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School are truly grateful and happy for this opportunity to build a meaningful partnership that will help empower our young girls to become responsible, confident, and service-oriented future leaders 💚

🌿Day 4 - Environment Day

In celebration of Girl Scout Week 2026, September 23 was observed as Environment Day. The Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School actively participated in a clean-up drive in front of the school, particularly in the canal area.

The activity focused on removing the weeds and collecting the garbage that had accumulated along the canal. Through teamwork, cooperation, and a strong sense of responsibility, the Girl Scouts helped make the surroundings cleaner, safer, and more pleasant for everyone.

The clean-up drive reminded the Girl Scouts that caring for the environment starts with simple actions. It also encouraged them to become responsible and active stewards of their school and community 🍀

🌸 Day 3 – Troop Leaders’ Day

As we continued our Girl Scouts Week celebration at Laureta National High School, Day 3 was dedicated to honoring our beloved Titas in Girl Scouting.

To show their love and appreciation, the Girl Scouts gave their Titas flowers, chocolates, and greeting cards. It was a simple yet meaningful gesture of gratitude for their guidance, support, and dedication to the Girl Scouting Movement.

The celebration was filled with smiles, warmth, and appreciation, making Troop Leaders’ Day a memorable part of our Girl Scouts Week 💚

💃Day 2- Girls’ Day

In line with the celebration of Girl Scout Week 2026, the girls gathered on September 21, 2026 for a meaningful Girls’ Day activity focused on building confidence and appreciating oneself.

The girls participated in an Affirmation Activity, where each one wrote positive and encouraging words about herself on sticky notes and posted them on the Confidence Wall. The activity provided an opportunity for the girls to recognize their own strengths, qualities, and worth.

A short sharing session was also conducted, highlighting the importance of not comparing ourselves with others and avoiding envy. The girls were reminded that everyone has unique talents, strengths, and journeys, and that true confidence comes from appreciating who we are while continuing to grow.

The activity ended on a positive note, leaving the girls encouraged to believe in themselves, celebrate their uniqueness, and support one another 💚

The celebration of the 1st Day of Girl Scout Week 2026 at Laureta National High School commenced with the meaningful Escoda Ceremony. The ceremony was conducted to honor the legacy of Josefa Llanes Escoda, the founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, and to remind every Girl Scout of her ideals of service, leadership, and love for country.

Girls actively participated in the ceremony with respect and enthusiasm, reflecting the values and principles of Girl Scouting. The activity served as a meaningful start to the week-long celebration and inspired the scouts to continue living out the ideals of service, responsibility, leadership, and commitment to the community 💚

The 12 Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School, together with Tita Abigail Arguelles (their troop leader) and Tita Ashley Muñez (Sub-camp Director) proudly participated in the 36th Regional Camp of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines - Eastern Mindanao Region held on September 10–13, 2026, at Energy Park, Tagum City.

On the first day, the girls learned practical scouting skills such as making bamboo tables, chairs, and a kitchen. They also worked together to set up their tents. Before the opening program, the girls attended a Holy Mass, while a non-religious service was provided for non-Catholic participants. The opening ceremony was filled with excitement, featuring colorful fireworks and the appearance of the Girl Scout mascot.

The second day was packed with fun and meaningful activities, including bagging, planting, and the rope challenge. The girls also participated in a fire drill and learned basic Taekwondo techniques. In the evening, during the Campfire presentation, the girls proudly showcased their talents through a lively dance presentation.

On the third day, the scouts participated in the Scouts Own ceremony and enjoyed the City Drift, where they visited some of Tagum City's cultural and educational attractions, including the library, museum, theather and botanical garden. In the evening, the girls enjoyed a memorable foam party, dressed in their fun Coachella-inspired outfits.

On the final day, the girls took part in the Open Camp, giving them an opportunity to meet and spend time with their loved ones. They also enjoyed some recreational time at the children's playground before the awarding ceremony.

The Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School were blessed to receive the following awards:

highlighting the team’s creativity, teamwork, cleanliness, and excellent organization of their campsite.

The successful participation of the girls would not have been possible without the generous support of many people. The girls scouts and troop leaders sincerely thank the School Principal for allowing them to participate, the School PTA for their financial assistance, and the LNHS Titas and parents who generously extended financial support to the girls. The school community also expresses its gratitude to Hon. Uloy Ong, Hon. Leo Revita in coordination with Ma’am Joy Garcia for the kitchen tent of the Girl scouts.

With grateful hearts, we extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who supported and believed in our girls. Above all, we thank Almighty God for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings throughout the camp. 😇💚

On August 9, 2026, the Girl Scouts of Laureta National High School participated in the 1st Semester Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly 2026 held at the Barangay San Miguel Gymnasium.

The Girls were grateful for the invitation extended by SK Chairman John Lloyd Igona, which gave them an opportunity to take part in a meaningful youth activity in the community. The assembly provided the Scouts with a chance to interact with fellow young people, listen to the discussions, and experience being part of a community gathering. The activity was made even more enjoyable through the raffle draw, where several of our Girl Scouts were fortunate to win prizes. Their participation not only created happy memories but also encouraged them to be more involved in youth and community activities.

The LNHS GSP extends its sincere appreciation to our active SK Chairman and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Miguel for welcoming and including the Girl Scouts in this worthwhile event💚
