Today, we successfully conducted a Drug Awareness Symposium attended by children and parents to raise awareness about the harmful effects of illegal drugs and the importance of strong family guidance and support.

Fire Prevention Month reminds us that safety starts at home and awareness can save lives.Grateful to be part of this fun, educational, and meaningful activity together with our brave FIREFIGHTERS 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

The day became even more joyful because of the different learning stations practicing CPR, trying the emergency zipline, fire hose handling, and crawling in a zero-visibility situation. It was exciting, fun, and at the same time very educational for the kids.

Last Saturday, November 29, members of the City Risk Reduction and Management Office of Tagum City conducted an Earthquake Readiness and Management training for the participants of HCDC. We are truly grateful for the continuous support of our Local Government in providing these kind of trainings through its various agencies that will further equip our participants with the necessary knowledge and skill in times of different emergencies.
This is part of the Children's Month Celebration of HCDC for this year 2025.

For the month of August to September, several of our participants underwent beginner and intermediate piano lessons on chord playing to discover and develop their skills in music. And for the month of November, they were able to showcase their skills as they had their recital during the singing of songs in our devotionals every Saturday. We praise God for the six individuals who have persevered and committed themselves to use these skills for the ministry. Glory to God!
This is still part of the Skills Development Program of HCDC for the F.Y. 2025-2026 in keeping our children away from worldly and negative influences and diverting their time, energy and skills into things that will glorify God. We look forward to the next batch of trainees who will undergo lessons for different instruments this coming January.
