Pulong Kendi needs your help!

The recent fire in Pulong Kendi, Taguig has left around 400 people without a place to call home. Currently staying in nearby evacuation areas, TCC-Hiraya Community Scouting aims to extend help through your generous donations.

🌸 One of the most priceless gifts a mother can give to us is her love that inspires us and makes us stronger every single day. 🌸

On this day, we, the members of Taguig City Council–Hiraya Community Scouting, together with the entire country, celebrate and acknowledge the contribution of all mothers during Mother’s Day.

It is only proper that we thank those mothers who are loved and respected for their devotion to nurturing their families and communities, which contribute to building a better Philippines in the future. We thank them because they have made us into the people that we are today, and they teach us to become better individuals.

The setting sun on April 14, 2026 saw Hiraya Community Scouting participate in the Sunset Ceremony with other Scouts at 5:00 PM.

Prior to the ceremony, a Holy Mass was held, allowing Scouts to gather in prayer and reflection as they prepared for the solemn proceedings. Then, under the quiet evening sky, Scouts lined up in formation to mark the conclusion of their activities for the day. It was also an opportunity for Scouts to pay homage to those who sacrificed before them and to honor the responsibilities borne by the current generation.

Through the flag-lowering ceremony, the mood was charged with deep reverence. In unison, all Scouts took part in making a solemn vow to uphold the virtues of service, unity, and patriotism toward the country. 🇵🇭

It was more than a ritual; the sunset ceremony also served as a reminder that even amid silence, patriotism is alive in the heart of the youth today.

On this day, we of Taguig City Council's Hiraya Community Scouting take part in the country’s celebration of the 84th year of Araw ng Kagitingan. Let us pay respect to our heroes who remained firm and proud despite the challenges.

May their acts guide us in being Scouts and Filipinos who will act in honor and bravery.

As early as the morning came, Scouts were already there where heroes sleep.🙏

Indeed, Hiraya Community Scouting was one of those who joined in the Sunrise Ceremony held at Libingan ng mga Bayani, Taguig City, under the theme “Giting ng Bayani, Pamana sa Salinlahi.” 🇵🇭

Almost 300 Scouts, with majority from Taguig City Council, joined in not only for the celebration of an event, but also in the remembrance of what heroes once did and how current generations now take up responsibilities in remembering such legacy.👥

During the ceremony, selected Hiraya Scouts had the honor of assisting veterans in a flower offering at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a solemn act of gratitude and respect that deepened the meaning of service and remembrance.🌹

Standing in unity and respect, Hiraya Community Scouting joins fellow Scouts in carrying forward the values of bravery, service, and commitment to nation and community, nearing the 84th anniversary of the Araw ng Kagitingan.🏙️

In the spirit of this guiding principle, the Scouts of Taguig City Council’s Hiraya Community Scouting took part in the first Council Earth Hour Camp with the theme “KISLAP: Switch Off the Lights, Ignite the Spark, TCC Scouts Lead Through the Dark,” held at the Taguig Youth Environment for Scouting within Taguig National High School.🕯️

During the event, two Scouts served as Base Discussants, sharing meaningful knowledge and insights with fellow participants. Meanwhile, four Scouts took on vital roles as staff, helping ensure the venue was well-prepared, maintaining order and neatness, and keeping the energy of the program alive and engaging.🧠

Through their service and active participation, Hiraya Community Scouting continues to embody the true essence of Scouting: leading by example, and making a positive impact in every opportunity to serve.🫡
