This achievement marks a new meaningful milestone in his journey as a Scout Leader, reflecting to his dedication as a Scout and commitment to the principles of Scouting. The knowledge and additional skills gained throughout the training will surely guide him as he continues to lead.

The Scouts of Hiraya Community Scouting served as part of the Junior Support Staff during the simultaneous Basic Training Course for Troop Leaders at Rizal Elementary School and Basic Training Course for Outfit Advisors at Pembo Elementary School, held from August 21–23, 2026.

Throughout the three-day training, Hiraya’s Scouts provided additional manpower by assisting with the teachings, supporting the facilitators, and helping with the general needs of the event. Their contribution behind the scenes helped keep the activities organized while giving them an opportunity to practice the very values that Scouting teaches: responsibility, cooperation, and service.

We would like to thank the following Scouts:

Taguig City Council – Hiraya Community Scouting stands to remember the death of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

With his belief that “The Filipino is worth dying for,” we remember the sacrifices he made for the Filipino people and the principles he stood for.

As Scouts, may we honor his memory not only by remembering his sacrifice, but by continuing to serve our communities, uphold our values, and contribute to a better Philippines.

May his courage remind us that love for our country is shown not only in words, but through service, integrity, and action.

Yohoooo, dito ang tingin!!👀👀

On August 14, 2026, Hiraya Community Scouting held the first meeting of its Marksmanship Merit Badge Counseling, focusing on Rifle and Pistol Marksmanship.

The session began with a lecture covering the fundamentals of marksmanship, firearm safety, and responsible handling, followed by a dry firing activity that allowed the Scouts to apply what they had learned in a controlled setting.

More than learning how to aim, the counseling emphasizes the discipline, focus, and responsibility expected of Scouts as they work toward completing their Marksmanship Merit Badge requirements.

Hiraya Community Scouting extends its appreciation to the Regional Special Training Unit – NCR (RSTU-NCR) for providing instruction and guidance throughout the session. Their support and expertise helped make this learning experience possible for our Scouts.

Hiraya Community Scouting greets its Outfit Scribe, Hanah Ferrer, a happy, happy birthday!

Your contagious laughter and vibrant personality bring life to every event, and your presence always makes the atmosphere a little brighter. Whether you're leading as an MC or simply being yourself, you have a way of making every moment more memorable.

Behind all that energy is someone whose dedication never goes unnoticed. As our Outfit Scribe, you have consistently shown competence and accuracy in everything you do. In every set of minutes you prepare, and in every pubmat you edit, your hard work helps keep Hiraya moving forward. Except for this one, of course.
