The final Face-to-Face Session of Mega Summer Ventures brought together 54 scholars for a meaningful conclusion to this year's program at One Campus Place, McKinley Hill, Taguig City.

Through inspiring sessions led by alumni scholars, Atty. Genesis B. Sapla Jr., Lawyer and Business Owner, and Mr. Julan D. Castro, Assistant Division Chief of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), scholars gained valuable insights on the importance of giving back, embracing social responsibility, and practicing leadership in everyday life. The discussions encouraged scholars to recognize that true leadership is rooted not only in achievements but also in service, integrity, and the positive impact created within their communities.

As the program officially came to a close, participants left with renewed purpose, stronger connections, and a deeper commitment to becoming leaders who inspire change and make a difference wherever they go.

Megaworld Foundation successfully held its second Career Coaching Session for Batch 2026 graduating scholars last July 17, 2026 at One Campus Place.

The session featured engaging discussions led by industry professionals, Mr. Andy Dela Cruz and Mr. John Russell Dela Cruz of Megaworld Corporation, who shared valuable insights into the history and background of Alliance Global Inc. and its subsidiaries, along with practical guidance on crafting compelling resumes and preparing confidently for job interviews.

As part of the experience, scholars had the opportunity to explore career opportunities through a job fair featuring Travellers International Hotel Group and Westside City, while also getting a glimpse of the dynamic workplace at Newport World Resorts.

The event empowered scholars with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need as they prepare to transition from student life to the professional world, bringing them one step closer to achieving their career aspirations.

The second face-to-face session of Mega Summer Ventures brought together 50 Megaworld Foundation scholars for another day of learning, collaboration, and unforgettable experiences at One Campus Place, McKinley Hill, Taguig City.

Through insightful sessions led by Mr. Jan Kevin Antonio and Ms. Jerica Inna Lechuga of Megaworld Corporation, scholars discovered how storytelling can strengthen confidence and communication while learning practical ways to maintain their well-being and prevent burnout.

Beyond the talks, participants enjoyed fun-filled booths, interactive activities, and quality time with fellow scholars—making the second wave of the program both enriching and memorable.

For the past eight years, Megaworld Foundation has remained committed to helping young learners strengthen their literacy and numeracy skills through Eskwela ng Bayan. Every summer, employee volunteers dedicate four Saturdays to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students from underserved communities.

Last Saturday marked the start of the sessions at Bacao Elementary School, General Trias, Cavite, together with 48 passionate volunteers who brought fun, learning, and compassion to the students. Megaworld Foundation President Dr. Francis C. Canuto also visited the school to personally meet the learners and volunteers and witness the impact of the program firsthand.

Megaworld Foundation successfully held its first Career Coaching Session for Batch 2026 graduating scholars last April 24, 2026 at One Campus Place.

The session featured engaging discussions led by industry professionals, including Ms. Caroline Kabigting and Mr. John Russell Dela Cruz of Megaworld Corporation, who shared an overview of the history and background of Alliance Global Inc. and its subsidiaries, along with practical guidance on crafting strong resumes and preparing for job interviews.

Scholars also had the opportunity to explore real work environments through learning visits at Venice Corporate Center Data Science Lab, guided by Mr. Francis Viernes, and Park McKinley West, facilitated by Ms. Christian Mary Kates Rodil and Ms. Shiena Saballo of Asia Affinity Property Management Inc. They also had the opportunity to meet Dr. Francis Canuto at Alliance Global Tower, where he personally toured them around and shared insights about the workplace.

This meaningful experience equipped scholars with the knowledge, confidence, and inspiration as they prepare to take their next step into the professional world.

Megaworld Foundation, in partnership with Executive Optical (EO), provided free vision screenings and eyeglasses to almost 70 students of T. Paez Integrated School in Manila.

With enhanced eyesight, they are now ready to participate, learn, and grow with greater confidence in school.
